HAGL Plaza Hotel Danang is a luxurious hotel located in Danang city. The hotel is 1.5 km from the international airport, close to the city's center for business, shopping and entertainment. The guests rooms come equipped with a wide range of standard amenities including Wi-Fi Internet access, satellite television, minibar and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel also features conference rooms, accommodating up to 500 persons with complete audio and visual equipment. Guests can also sample delicious local and international cuisine at the restaurants or relax at the pool bar where refreshing drinks can be delighted in.
Please note there is no extra charge for children under the age of 12 sharing the room with their parents if no extra bed is required. An enjoyable overnight stay.

We only stayed at this hotel for one night whilst in transit from Hue to Ho Chi Minh City. A warm greeting at Check-in and considerable help from Customer Relations staff ensured a positive immediate feel. Our room on the 20th floor had sweeping City, Mountain and Bay views . Room fittings were of a high standard and the sleep was comfortable. Fantastic rain shower. All in all would have been happy to have stayed longer at the HAGL Plaza.

Super size room
I have stayed at the HAGL a few times and must say that the quality has not changed. The rooms are of an extraordinary size and they are very clean indeed.

As said, the rooms are huge and the bathroom is well equipped, even though the drain in the shower was somewhat slow and "flooding" the bathroom floor. Breakfast buffet is ok but nothing extraordinary. Staff is very friendly, helpful and language is not an issue with them. I can recommend this hotel for somebody looking for a reasonable stay in Danang and who is not necessarily looking for a beach hotel.

Once was a lovely hotel, I'm sure

I'm sure that once upon a time this was a lovely hotel and probably could be again but it would take some serious money. The rooms, the decor, the fittings all require upgrading. The pool was very uninviting, the gym just a few bits of equipment outside, the furniture from the 1970s (and not in a good way) and the rooms like grandma's house. The breakfast was very ordinary after a week down the road at Hoi An. But the staff, like all over Vietnam, were delightful. I imagine there were once upon a time some magnificent balls here but a long time ago. HAGL Corporation needs to spend money on a major upgrade.
