Great value for money, 15 min walk to city centre

First of all this hotel is a 15 minute up hill walk to the city center and restaurants. There are places to eat and shop on the way but the quality is not as good. Worth bearing in mind for elderly people or people who aren't that fit.
Secondly we had some laundry done, tried to pay at the time but were told "no", it must have been lost in translation as we were under the impression is was a free service but they added 180,000 dong to our bill at the end which was way way more than anybody else in Vietnam will charge you. If the price had been clear at the time we wouldn't have minded but felt a bit sneaky doing it that way.
However, they are the only negative things about our stay here. The hotel is so clean and the rooms are very spacious. Every time you leave the hotel the staff will make up your room which is a really nice touch. Staff struggle with English but are incredibly polite (always holding doors open and bringing umbrellas to meet you from a taxi etc.). Great stay for the price.

Very small room with no window and non existing ventilation.
Cigarattesmoke some how made it in from the corridor. Very thin walls, very noisy.
Staff not helpful at all. Checked out one day earlier because we couldnt sleep at all.
