Elegent hotel, good price

Lovely hotel and great location

I was spent two night with my family at Dalat Hotel Du Parc, This hotel provide quality service, fast check in and out, willing to deliver travel information...The room is night and clean. Last but not least, Dalat Hotel Du Parc has a great location, we just took 5 minutes walk for going to Dalat market and Ho Xuan Huong. If I have a chance I will back Dalat and stay at this Hotel again.

I am a regular customer in Novotel Hotel for last 10 years. But since Novotel changed to Du Parc. This is the first time i came back and this time was terrible time for our family. We check in at 6pm on 29/12 and at midnight we found plenty of bed-bug in our bed. Hotel has sorry but not change other room for us with a reason no room available. They take other mattress and put on floor for us.
That is 4 stars hotel. I would never come back.

The location of hotel is near city center.

The elevator in hotel is not good. The standard room and bad are too small. The staffs hotel are very affable and polite. Thí hotel is very nice and near city center.

Vey good for holidays and honey moon in Dalat

I love the look of the hotel from the picture. But very dissapointed of the unupdated aminities. Very old mini bar can't keep anything cool. Bedsheet and towels are worst than motel during my college years. Elevator are so old and didn't work on our first night. My 80yrs mother couldn't walk down because we are on the top floor. The bathtub is unsafe for children and senior citizen. The room was so noisy that it woke me up from the car noise and constant honking. Donot take the room look out to street. The telephone in the room also so old. TV is from another century. This hotel property seriously need to be renovated in order to remain a 4star. It is sad to see such a beautiful hotel from the outside could be that bad in the inside. The staffs are nice but not as nice as many of the hotels I have stay in many location throughout VN. Staffs are not so knowledgable about tour and sightseeing.

Unfriendly hotel reception staff

The unfriendly hotel reception staff made our stay an unpleasant one. We booked the suite since we were traveling with an 11-year old child and the suite had a sofa bed that we could use for our son. However, at the hotel we learned that the sofa is provided, however, if we wanted some bedding for the sofa, we would have to pay a charge for an extra bed. Furthermore, the hotel reception staff was very unfriendly and kept on reminding us of the extra charges since we booked through Agoda and not through them. Furthermore, we had to walk to a separate building to have breakfast since there was no breakfast room associated to the hotel. The hotel's elevator also kept jamming between floors.
We played a round of golf at the nearby golf course, which was managed by the same hotel chain. The day was a really wet one and all greens were poorly maintained and flooded. We even had to push the cart with the caddies to make it run uphill. For all this fun, the golf course still charged us around $300 (2 adults + child) for the 18-hole round of golf, which considering the condition of the golf course and other amenities (such as the male and female locker rooms) is a rip off. We complained about the ponding water on the greens to the manager who said that the course is only maintained for tournaments. We did, however, get a 50% discount of the cart fee for having to push it to run.
Vietnam still has a lot to learn about tourism and how the make the customers' stay a pleasant one.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with adjoining rooms for our young daughters, a feature which would be great to be able to select as an option on Agoda. We loved the 1920s period features of the hotel and the old Post Office eatery over the road and the sister hotel the Palace Hotel up the hill.
