Situated in Vietnam�s beautiful central highlands, this hotel is a pleasant ten minute walk to the popular and enjoyable town of Dalat. The building was originally constructed in 1932 and was converted in 1995 and thankfully still manages to retain most of its original French colonial design. The Novotel Dalat Hotel houses a total of 144 guest rooms complete with comfortable furnishings, a large bathroom and modern amenities such as satellite TV and air conditioning. The hotel features a range of excellent facilities such as an outdoor tennis court, horse-riding, and large gardens which are great for an early morning jog or simply sitting and relaxing with friends. The hotel houses an delicious and authentic Vietnamese restaurant located on the terrace area and there is also the Le Rabelais Restaurant that hosts daily barbecues in an ideal setting.

wonderful staff, good location

traffic noise, though that is hard to avoid in much of Vietnam

We were very impressed with hotel. Excellent spa (massage services)and laundry services at reasonable prices. A little out of main business streets of Da Lat, so away from real hussle and bustle, though within easy walking distance to centre. However, still found the traffic noisy until early hours, then it started again, but that is difficult to avoid! Very efficient in organising local bus and tour bookings.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Conveniently located opposite Post Office

had to pay for breakfast when we thought it was included.

The Novotel is a pretty good value hotel in dalat where there isn't many options. Its in a nice location where an easy 10minue walk down the hill brings you into the town of dalat. There is no restaurant at the hotel and you have to go across the road for breakfast, unless you order room service.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : When you walk out of your hotel for the first time you will most likely be approached by someone from the dalat easy riders. They offer day trips around dalat and surrounding areas on the back of a motorbike. Me and my partner did one of their day trips which we enjoyed and decided to get them to take us on a trip from nha trang to hoi an. We rang them up and were quoted a price we were happy with but when we were a short way into the trip the price was put up by $200 and we were ripped off by having to pay for hotels and all food expenses which we were told were included. Make sure you know what you are paying for with these guys as otherwise they will take all your money!

LOVLEY ROOM GOOD POSITION ELEGANT FUNISHINGS NICE SAUNA AREA

FRIDGE WAS NEVER COLD ENOUGH CARPET IN OUR ROOM COULD DO WITH A CLEAN SO COULD THE LOUNGE SUITE

HOTEL WAS A LITTLE FAR OUT OF TOWN BUT HAD A GOOD VIEW INTO TOWN ROOMS WERE VERY SPACIOUS AND BATHROOM WAS LOVLEY I THOUGHT FOR THE PRICE WE PAID BREAKFAST SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IT WAS NICE IN A FRENCH RESTAURANT ACROSS THE ROAD STAFF WERE HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY WE WOULD STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN

Travel tip : HE FRENCH RESTAURANT ACROSS THE ROAD EXCELLENT TOWN CLOSES DOWN FAIRLEY EARLY IN THE NIGHT SOME NICE RESTAURANTS IN TOWN GO TO THE MARKETS N TOWN AND DO THE EASY RIDER TRIP
