It is quite good for couple like us to stay. It is an old, small but nice hotel. However, the hotel facilities are quite poor. The hotel does not have gym, swimming pool. the food is not diversified and poor. The view from the hotel is not good. The windows from my room are too small to have a good view.

We were a group of five, and took three rooms. All the rooms were large, well-appointed, very clean, and comfortable. It had that slightly worn, but amazing charm typical of old colonial hotels. Novotel has done a great job of updating it. The staff was friendly and efficient. When we stayed in Da Lat, it was cold and rainy, a surprise for Vietnam, despite reading that it could get cold.
Room service was delightful, with a reasonable and well-rounded menu, delicious food, and service with white linens, flowers, and a table around which to gather. The breakfast across the street at the Sofitel was very well-prepared and extensive, and the restaurant put you in the mind of mid-20th century France.
The birdcage elevator was cute, but under repair when we arrived. However it was an easy walk up the impressive double staircase and the art hung in the halls was worth viewing. The "garden view" overlooked the street, but it was quiet in our room and the view was pretty enough. My husband an my bed had a lump in the mattress--not what you would expect at this place.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We really enjoyed the visit to the Crazy House, more than we expected it would be. We also found the Bao Dai Summer Palace interesting, a personal if a little worn Art Deco mansion. Check out the train times if you want to take the train into the mountains. We arrived too late at 11:00 a.m., but the station was quaint and taxi rides are cheap around town. On the way to Da Lat, we greatly enjoyed Dambri Falls, well worth a visit.

Das Novotel in Dalat ist ein wunderschönes gepflegtes altes 4 Sterne Hotel. Die sauberen Zimmer sind jedoch etwas sehr klein ausgefallen. Das Frühstückebuffet ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Preise sind nicht unbedingt günstig aber wenn man die Qualität des Services und auch der Speisen betrachtet auch angemessen. Das Hotel befindet sich nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuss vom Zentrum entfernt in einer ruhigeren Lage.

It is worth to stay in this hotel if you go to Dalat. Rooms and facilities are in old colonial building. You can see old wooden floor, and a busket style elevator. Unfortunately, the location is not so good. You should walk 10 minutes to the city center or a lake (Of course, you can use taxi in front of hotel). Anyway, I think this hotel is the most costly in Vietnam.

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Dalat feels like a tourist town with lots of gimmicky stuff right down to the horse carriage rides (which can't completely circle the lake so a cicrle tour doesn't bring you back to were you started).
