Situated close to the Xuan Huong Lake, this picturesque hotel is spread across five acres of woodland and offers comfortable and relaxing accommodation. The building was originally built in 1922 and thankfully still retains some of its character and offers a peaceful escape from the stresses of city life. Located in the center of Dalat, the hotel houses 43 guest rooms and suites with attractive décor and nice amenities including satellite TV, a reasonably priced mini bar and air-conditioning. With the emphasis firmly on relaxation, the hotel is home to the new l'Apothicaire Spa center where guests can pamper themselves with a range of treatments and there is also a comprehensive business center with four large meeting rooms complete with state of the art facilities. There are also plenty of dining options including The Rabelais which serves the finest French cuisine and Larry’s Bar, where guests can enjoy a cocktail or three in a fun and relaxing environment.
Children at the Sofitel
The Sofitel does not charge children under 12 years of age if they are staying in a room occupied by parents and using the existing bedding. This is limited to one child per family, however, and additional fees will be charged should parents require a rollaway bed or cot.
For children 3 years and below, breakfast is complimentary. For children between the ages of 3 and 12 breakfast is charged but at a special children’s rate, while those above 12 years of age are charged the same rate as an adult.

luxury hotel in a stylish old house with professional services, conveniently located (about 10 minutes walk to city centre), wonderful greenery view, cheerful and friendly staff
I stay in the hotel for three nights at a special rate for three nights. It's just wonderful. Although there are cheap accommodation available in the city , it absolutely worth the value. The hotel offer us a free can and a bunch of rose on my girl friend's birthday. The queen size bed is comfortable and come with a down quilt.
Staff are nice and helpful and speak fluent English. I think its difficult to find such quality services and accommodation at a bargain in other part of the world.

Charming hotel, Belle Epoque feeling, good food, good location
This is a truly great hotel in a fascinating town. Founded as a health spa and retreat from the heat of summer about 100 years ago, Dalat is a must for a trip to Viet Nam. The climate is cool and fresh, there are many fine villas from the time of the French dominance, and you feel as though you have taken a time warp trip to the belle epoque.The cuisine is first rate.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : hire a car to visit Bao Dai's palace, the French villas and other sights around Dalat
