The view was spectacular. The grounds are very beautiful. The restaurant & food was really good. The waterslide was not going even when I asked if it could be turned on. The staff could be a little more friendly. It was low seasion so it was quite so maybe they didn't want the few people there to use too much electricity. We really liked the Catba Island Resort & Spa. We were so glad to finally get to the Island and then to see that the hotel was so beautiful. When we got into our room we were amased at the view of the other islands and little private bay from our room's balcony. The pools were delightful. Everything was great, we could have stayed much longer but sadly we only had two days on CatBa
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hire a Honda bike and ride around the island its really easy and great fun.

very good place, the view is amazing! they didnt reply my email about how to get there the hotel is the most luxurious in the island. its location is perfect, you will get a very beautiful view to halong bay from your room. it is also near the city of cat ba, only in a walking distance. you will also have an opportunity to take cruise tour to halong bay even though its quiet expensive.
Restaurant Tip : walk to the city from the hotel and you'll find a lot of restaurant and cafes. they are good especially their seafood menu!

beautiful scenary, hotel is set by the beach in a bay interior is old, bathroom is fit for a 3 star hotel the most, towel is old, stayed there only one night but electricity were off for more than 3 times!! Mr. Linh at the front desk was very helpful in getting my husband back his passport. We like to give him a big thanks for his effort.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : seafood is great at a very reasonable price in nearby streets, also find more competitive rate for local tour to Ha Long Bay, and back to Hanoi.

The available activities were fun and the view was nice. Our room was comfortable. Food quality was okay but could be improved. It was a little too greasy at times. Housekeeping and front desk were not responsive. It would take serveral calls to get action. We had fun overall and the room was clean, but there were some problems. We felt the food was overpriced and few of us had instestinal problems after eating at the restaurant. (We had a feeling that the prices on the english menu were more since it was in USD and not Dong.) The hotel was slow to take action. One of our rooms was not ready until almost 4 pm, we got our laundry late on the last day and the front desk never sent anyone to help us with the airconditioning like they said they would.
Restaurant Tip : The Green Mango in town had great food and a good variety.

Beach front location, big facility, potentially plenty to do. Everything was under repair, or closed. Travel tip : Make sure the hotel is fully operational as I believe this hotel could be quite nice.

I have very much satisfied at the stay your hotel, a week. Beach was so nice and hotel are located at excellent area in the island. services are also so nice. teniis court I played often was also good . internet system are also ok. food was a little expense though, as a whole , everything was ok. sauna , spa was under renovation. hope to open at next stay at your hotel..
