Hotel Description

While guests are able to sail through the gorgeous Ha Long Bay, they also are offered with English- guided tours through Sung Sot Grotto and Floating Villages on the Emeraude Classic Cruises. Activities such as Tai Chi lessons, swimming, kayaking or cooking lessons are provided as well.

Also, full board Vietnamese and International buffet meals are served in the boat's dining room. The bars offer fully set of French, Australian, Chilean wine, spirit, beers, cocktails and other drinks. Relaxing body massage can be enjoyed at the spa (chargable).

The elegant-looking Superior and Deluxe air-conditioned cabins also offers non-smoking options coming with electronic door lock, umbrella and bottled water. Paul Roque Suite cabin has an amazing private balcony. Captain's Suite is spacious and comfortable and lined with colonial-era bamboo matting. Emeraude Suite is luxurious roomy enough for a queen-sized bed, as well as a large sofa and space for guests to entertain.

Hotel Policies

Please be informed that the shuttle bus departs at 8:00 AM from the Emeraude's sales office at 46 Le Thai To Street, Hanoi and boat embarkation starts at 12:20AM at Emeraude Cafe, Royal Park, Halong Road, Halong City. Please contact Emeraude Classic Cruises if you need this service. Guests are required to provide the hotel name, address and contact number in Hanoi and Halong at least 24 hours in advance for the pick-up service.

Please be informed that an 72-hour advance registration with the cruise is required with full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number, visa expiry date for all passengers. A valid passport is required upon check-in on board. Children whose traveling documents are attached to parent's passport must be travel with the parent. No refunds are offered if local police and port authority refuse passengers passages when passengers fail to present valid passports for inspection.

Nice cruising vessel, expensive & friendly staff. 7 This is our second time with Emeraude Classic Cruises because we found that they really had excellent meals. But this time we found that the quality has decreased compare to our first trip with Emeraude. Although they still advertise smoked salmon in their website, they didn't serve any as we would have expected. The price of wine is way too expensive.

Emeraude Classic Cruises is located at Emeraude Cafe on c/o Royal Park, Ha Long Road, Halong city, Quang Ninh province. GETTING THERE To get to Halong Bay, Halong city, there are 2 options: 1) Departing from Hanoi (170km distance – 3.5 hours driving): we provide a chargeable shuttle services or private car/bus services from/to Hanoi to pick you up in Hanoi. Daily departure time is from 7.30-8am. This route is the most commont to passengers. 2) Departing from Hai Phong (70km distance – 1.5 hours driving): there are direct flights from Danang, Ho Chi Minh City to Hai Phong. Arrival flight falls in PM time (subject to change without prior notice). We provide private chargeable car/bus services to pick you up in Hai Phong. This route is optional which is more suitable for passengers would like to extend stay in Hai Phong or Ha Long city.
