Located just 100 meters from the beach, the Halong Bay Hotel is surrounded by natural scenic landscapes and picture perfect mountains. Rooms are tastefully decorated and well furnished with modern amenities including color TV and IDD telephone. There is a well maintained garden as well as an outdoor swimming pool and other sporting facilities are available on request at nominal charges. The staff are particularly friendly and willing to assist in planning sightseeing tours or simply to help with travel directions. Thanks to the reasonable rates and convenient location, the hotel is a great choice for both business and leisure travelers.

The receptionist is nice and warmly to welcome. The scenery from room's window is very beautiful.
No evaluator so it's quite difficult to go up-stair if u have an old people in your trip.
The hotel is located in the nice place at Halong Bay. It near a seashore and not far to go to shopping at Halong night market or tour with the boat trip. Many seafood restaurants are arounded here and u can choose by yourself. The receptionist is nice and dress in the Vientien Style and welcome me to take a photo with her.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Halong Bay is a nice place to come. It has a calm sea and beautiful mountain. Don't forget to take a time to go a boat trip and I'm sure that u will love it and like it.

the hotel is being renovated in the lobby but the rooms are old and dirty. there was black mold in the bathroom and the carpet should have been replaced 5 years ago.
there are a great selection of restaurant about 3 blocks away. the desk staff are very helpful and polite

We chartered a private boat but turned out to be shared. Never pay in advance.
Travel tip : Not much to buy there.
