It was very clean. Good food. Freindly staff. Internet connection. English language. Super hard matress. 3 things at the so called gym, one of them was broken. The internetconnection was a bit of a struggle. We spend 3 huors trying to book a flight, but gave up at 2.30 in the morning because of there was error on every page we wanted to look at. Also a difficult time trying to order milk for coffee in english...frustrating that at a 4 star hotel maybe only one person spoke english.
At Agodas website they promised a gym...well the is a treasmell and a bicycle and and unfortuneatly also a broken multimaschine. 3 things does not make it a gym.
But overall everybody was freindly and helpfull. No problem when we checked out.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Sailing around Halon bay was absolutely beautifull!!

Mithrin Hotel locates in developing area, and about 15 min work until boat stop. The hotel is new. Everything is clean and the breakfast was also delicious.

Jacuzzi in the premises Desert around the hotel
No life in the hotel The Mithrin Hotel is a luxury building set in the middle of nowhere, by the main road leading to the Halong Bay. Stayed in a Deluxe King Room which was huge with nice bathroom. Arrived late at night but still managed to slip into the Jacuzzi (5 $ per session, has to be booked) which was OK, tho' the Jacuzzi Room itself lacks in decoration.
Staff forgot to give me the wakeup call so I missed breakfast and the departure of my cruise.
If I was to return to Halong Bay, would arrive before 11 in the morning and jump straight to the boat and leave straight afterwards without staying in Halong Bay itself.
