brand new hotel, convenient location, sleek interior design, international standard, awesome outdoor swimming pool with the view connecting to bay
bell boy mislead us to a super expensive transportation method.
we inquired transportation to Cat Ba Island, bell boy told us the hotel doesn't provide such service but he can hook us up with a private car service which will cost US$150 one way to get to our hotel in Cat Ba Island; which it actually cost us less than US$50 (with hotel car service charge inclusive to pick up from pier)......good thing we consult 2nd opinion!!

Bay view, decoration of room, good location.

Not enough staff
Good location with bay view. I like the decoration of room. Staffs are a little bit perplexed. It seems lack of staff, check in and check out take very longtime, lobby bar sometime does not have staff. I waiting long time to order some beverages. Anyway, it is so so for 4-stars hotel like this.

brand new, staff were very helpful, room perfect
the hotel was amazing, brand new, staff were extremely helpful and they upgraded us to a $200 a night room which was amazing. perfect views looking over the bay. american breakfast buffet was well worth the money and the food was very reasonably priced too and very nice. it's such a shame it is in halong city where there is nothing to do, we stayed there 3 nights and ended up going on an overnight boat for one of them because there was nothing to do, there is no way we needed to be there 3 nights, if you want to stay in the city after the tour of the bay trust us that 1 night is enough
