Friendly and helpful
The hotel was clean, exactly as the photos and website described, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and a huge bed!

I was very happy with my stay, with the service, the cleanliness of the room. Not so much with the karaoke from across the street but it is the old quarter and a busy part of town so to be expected. The location is really handy for exploring the old quarter, and its great bars, restaurants, shops and the lake. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this hotel to others.

located within walking distance of attractions, and restuarants.
upgraded room because we returned for a second time. spacious rooms, lovely buffet breakfast.
all staff spoke english.

Close to taylor shops, for suits or silk dresses.

This was a great hotel situated in the old quarter of Hanoi, a great location with only a small walk go the lake (this was a good reference when we got lost). As soon as we walked in all the staff were greeting us by name and welcomed us warmly. After we were in our room for just a few minutes, the manager came to our door with a big bouqhet of flowers and a card as they had seen on my passport that it was my birthday the day before. This was a really nice touch and much appriciated. Whenever we needed something the staff were more then happy to help and this made our stay really easy in Hanoi. The breakfast was decent but basic. Rooms were really nice and everything was really clean. We would definatly recommend this hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Shop around for tours, some hotels only offer one type of tour an say that's the best one. Know what you wan and have a look around.

the bed sheets are clean. the room is clean and cosy. the hotel provides free wi-fi service. we found this convenient. the hotel staff is considerate and tries their best to meet the needs of the customers. the manager, ben, is a friendly man. he provides good service and advice to his hotel clients.
the hotel staff provides a very handy map, with all the iconic landmarks and tourists spots.

we stayed at family room located at the back of hotel away from the noice from the busy street. the staff are friendly and helpful. the rooms are clean and well kept. amenities like free massaging chair are a plus point as well as availability of internet access. the staff suggested and help to arrange site seeing of major city attraction around hanoi and a day trip to halong bay. both are superb. we are satisfied and have a wonderful trip to hanoi.

the hotel was great, the rooms were large, it had a massage chair, laptop for personal use, a large plasma tv with cable channels.
the deluxe room was verynlarge and spacious. i could ot fault the room or the staff.

a lovely room with a good view of the street. the room included a laptop and free internet access which was a nice touch.
the breakfast was good although the selection was a little limited. the most impressive part was that nothing was too much trouble for the staff. everything we asked for was provided without fuss and when we were heading out on excursions we were provided with chilled bottled water which was a nice touch

Hotel in a great location by Hoan Kiem lake on south east edge of Hanoi Old Quarter. Has all Old quarter street vibe and action, and close to good road so taxi doesn't have to weave in and out of small streets to find.
Staff is very friendly, Breakfast buffet is nice, deluxe room was big.
Bathroom was western and clean with good hot water.
minor problem with bathroom - small leak in bathroom.
Overall room quality was medium by western standards but very nice by SE asian standards for good price hotel.
