Clean hotel with friendly and helpful services
Clean, Good services, Good location
9.7
I read a lot of reviews before finally deciding to book this hotel and I definitely made the right decision. The location is great, right at the perimeter of Old Quarters; so its not noisy while you are just 1 road away from the Old Quarters and happening place. The thing that I concerned the most with hotel is cleaniness and the bed is good (no bed bug) after I had pretty bad experience with some other hotel in Bangkok and Bali. So, I'm glad when the hotel is as clean as other reviewers had described and the hotel/washroom looks pretty new as well. For the money you are paying, I'll say this hotel would be your best bet - with full ammenities even though I'm not using it and the breakfast is okay too.
Restaurant Tip:
The director of the hotel recommended 2 restaurants. The first one is right after we arrived - Restaurant Highway4 which taste good. We are given a room to ourselves but the air is pretty stuffed as the aircond is not on. On the other day dinner, the director recommended Restaurant 69 which is awesome. The food is very nice with lots of choices. The only drawback is both restaurant is slightly pricey for Hanoi standard.

Good hotel in good location at an affordable price
Location, the service and the pricr
7.3
they upgrade my room to deluxe and i'm surprised to find that there was a personal computer in the room with internet connection. it's very thoughtful.
also, the shower room came with a small bath tub. huge room with great tv programmes selection.
it's value for money here. but breakfast is seriously needed to be improved.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Can book tour from the hotel

Nice rooms but not so good service
The rooms are big and clean, and there is not any noise from the street

the stay was ok, but not a very nice experience. when we arrived we got a good room, the rooms are very nice and clean, but the breakfast is rather odd. the food is prepared in the lobby, just outside of the toilet, and the chef was rather absent and the coffee was cold (maybe from the day before). it was also a bit cold to sit in the lobby and eat.

Feels like being at home in the busy Hanoi
Very friendly staff, great breakfast, nice, clean rooms and free storing of luggage while travelling around from Hanoi

We had a great stay in Asia Palace, and we'll certainly go there again. The hotel has very friendly staff and they offer a lot more of service than they have to (eg. booking bus tickets, checking up information about how to travel different places etc.). The breakfast is really good, and it is nice it is a mix of Vietnamese food and western food. The rooms are not so big, but very nice and the aircon can even heat up the room, which is nice in this cold weather.. The hotel offered us to keep our things while we travelled to Cat Ba, which is a very good option.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Morning gymnastics around the lake! People do all kinds of gymnastics, from aerobics to tai-chi and different stretching movements..

Location- Great Staffs from Tien Thuy Hotel
6.7
The first room was smoky eventhough it was a non-smoking room. They had no problem giving us another. Great staffs!!! Lost my wallet there and I went on my tour, they spent the whole day looking for it and finally got to back to me- That was a life saver!!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Hotel is near the lake which made it easy to find places, however, the streets are short and weird and even though you are not going far, you can get lost very easily so always carry a map.
