Exceptional hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter. Staff is particularly attentive and friendly. Very good language skills..truly a perfect boutique hotel ideal fro exploring Hanoi's Old Quarter. Why spend $100s to stay in a western 5* hotel when you can have a wonderful boutique experience with everything right outside your front door. Do not be put off by the low room price..this hotel is an exceptional facility that will cater to your every need.

The breakfasts were so good, free, tasty, and filling, that most guests ate them. Because of small seating area, guests ate beside strangers, sharing info, places to go and to avoid. One learned much from their experiences. And the staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

This hotel is very well situated, close to everything except maybe the Ethnology Museum (which is out of the way). Lots of places to eat nearby, especially if you like street food. A few good "bia hoi"s nearby but still in a quiet area for Hanoi. There is a good selection of fruits, baguette, desserts, etc for breakfast (included) plus you can choose off the breakfast menu (good selection). The staff are fantastic... very friendly, attentive and helpful. Welcome drink and fruits and desserts in the room every day is a good touch. The only negative is that I had a deluxe room on the 2nd floor above the lobby/breakfast area and it was noisy at times. Also, no enclosed shower in this room. Previously I had stayed in a superior room on a quiet higher floor and it had an enclosed shower. So in my opinion the superior rooms are a better value, but I would certainly recommend this hotel for location and especially the wonderful staff.

Had a great 2 night stay at the Art Hotel in Hanoi's fascinating Old Quarter. This well located moderately-priced hotel is perfect for leisure travellers - singles or families.
The highlight of this hotel is undoubtedly the young, friendly staff. Theywere always on hand to help with directions, give recommendations to truly excellent restaurants in the area and to give a welcoming smile upon your return. Highly recommended.

Had a great stay here. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are small (superior room) but quite adequate and clean. Good bed and I had an enclosed shower and lots of hot water. Good WiFi. Fruit and dessert every day in the room. Good breakfast (included) from menu and small buffet. Situated near everything and very good street food places very close by (the best in my opinion right next door).
