Bonjour Vietnam Hotel, Hanoi

Good location and big room, female receptionists and bell boys are very helpful and polite, though the room that I staid (room 505) has defects, but solution is fast after I informed them, e.g. I found the entrance ceiling light do not reponse, right after I came back from outside, they had repaired. On the first night I found that the air-con in my room is out of order with freeze, and noisy with breaking ice spurt. It made me restless whole night thru. But anyway thier fast respond and politeness gave compensated felt to me, so I did not blame them. Coming back from my day tour outside in that afternoon, the female receptionist kindly smile and inform me, my room air-con is ok now... Weakness of this hotel is that the room is old and with dampness smell, carpet is a bit dirty, bathroom and room entrance door is old enough with a seam. Breakfast is poor that only menu with single order which meant you can only order for one cup of coffee and a plate of meal for your BF. Buffet will be much better for guests, so these part need to be improved and hotel rooms need slightly renovation and be sure everythings is in good order beforehand for check in guest. I can say overall this hotel is good and I will surely return again due to the warmest of the staffs.

This was a convenient location and a comfortable hotel. The room for breakfast is a not all that fancy, but the food was good. The bed was hard, but all the amenities worked, and overall this semeed a good value for the low price. It is not fancy, but fine enough.

Regarding the taxi services in hanoi, I strongly recommed to call the special airport taxi rather than any other taxi for the airport. The price will also be at least 50% cheaper.
