Average hotel, bad service and dishonest staff
Room clean, good breakfast and location
4.7
We can not recommend this hotel for the following reason:
1. Simple hotel but very expensive price (30 USD/ night is OK)
2. Staff are dishonest (Guy Chinh used rude words when communicating with his guests and dishonest)
3. This hotel is unsafe as we lost money in my room
4. Lobby is too dark
5. Very noisy by the construction next door
However, the room is small but good, clean. Location is also very good.

Centrally located hotel with excellent service.
The hotel was perfect for our stay, within walking distance to the old town of Hanoi, and Hoan Kiem lake area.
9.7
we are a retired couple travelling with our daughter. we three shared a large, comfortable, nicely furnished room which had easy access (walk or taxi)to the main 'tourist' sights of hanoi. the hotel staff were friendly and helpful and provided airport to hotel transport. our thanks go to anna for her personal service, guidance and help in making on-going and in-travel arrangements. breakfasts were enjoyable.
Travel tip:
We loved the Water Puppets theatre show, and enjoyed 'Bia Hoi' at a local bar (freshly brewed local beer). Anna had made arrangements for our day-trip to Halong Bay, which proved an interesting experience.

Nice hotel convenient location
7
The hotel was in a great location for sight seeing and other attractions like the water puppet show. Breakfast was nice but staff would congregate in the dining room and talk loudly and choose what was on tv (usually cartoons even though there were no kids in the room). The cleaners would knock on the door around 9.00 to see if they could clean our room even though we were still in the room which was a bit annoying. We also had some issues in communicating in English with the staff as they would agree with us then it would become obvious they didn't understand. Overall the staff were pleasant to talk to and friendly and the room was always clean so I would recommend it to other travelers.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Water puppets and markets close by

The first room I stayed in did not have a guest manual outlining the hotels services and facilities at all and the second one did have one, but a lot less glossy and detailed than other hotels I stayed in.
Travel tip:
The taxi fare from the railway station hould be about VND 50000.00, although the cab driver may try to get VND 225000.00 off you if you arrive in the middle of the night and the hotel staff is asleep when he drops you off... (cab fare from airport around $ 15.00 - may be a bit cheaper if car is not booked via hotel... -

This is my repeated stay in this hotel. Hotel was located near the sea-side and convenient to go to the city by taxi with few kilometers away. Breakfast in hotel was ok but lack of variety of foods. Hotel staffs were friendly and helpful. I will refer to friends to stay in the hotel in future.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The food was great. We had a twin room booked but they upgraded us to a queen bed. The hotel is close to the lake and within walking distance of the old town.

Convenient and Friendly
In room computer, very good included buffet breakfast
8.3
The room was basic but clean. My room was right above the kitchen which was noisy and a bit smelly. The walls were also a bit thin so rather noisy at times. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a good location. A very good buffet breakfast was included, with a wide range of food/beverage selections.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Very close to Hoan Kiem Lake and the water puppet theater. Good location overall.

not going to lie - the rooms in this hotel are tiny! even the lifts and stairwells are tiny. the rooms are very neat and have everything you could need, its just in a very small space. our bath leaked so couldnt use that, also had a few issues with our internet, however, staff were very quick to fix. breakfast was average, but the dinner was really nice as well as their cocktails. staff were so helpful, always happy and willing to assist.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We were not prepared for the cold weather (travelled in February) bring a jacket and scarf if travelling during this time.
