What a lovely surprise my friends and I had when we arrived at the Boss hotel on July 1st, 12. We stayed for 3 nights while touring around Vietnam. The hotel is very close to the Old Quarter (just 3 minutes walk to Sword Lake, Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre and myriads of popular sightseeing places. It closes to restaurants and bars, too. What really impressed us are the welcoming and attentive staff was a highlight - the staff were so helpful and extremely friend. The rooms with elegant decoration, cozy ambience were well presented and very clean. The room is big enough for a couple nights stay, it had a lovely modern bathroom with Japanese wooden bathtub and glass standing shower. Moreover, it has nice balcony overlooking the street. Room had flat screen TV and free Wireless broadband that was very reliable, breakfast was also very good. It was no trouble to leave luggage there for a few days while we went to Halong Bay. Overall, I would absolutely come back here if I visit Hanoi in the soonest time. Highly recommend this one!

It is a small but nice hotel. It is located in the center of Hanoi. Easy to get foods around the hotel and also in "ancient town" by walking.
The hotel is clean and comfortable. There is a TV + computer inside the room that would help me so much since I am lazy to carry laptop.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Only a small thing needs to be improved: mobilephone signal is very weak inside the hotel. It is very hard to make a phone call from the room (or receive a call).

Small hotel with Clean room and friendly staffs
9.7
I stayed in a Suite room which was clean, big and with rooms and living room separate. It come with a Balcony with pretty good view. The Aircon was good and free WIFI working fine with a huge smart TV for PC access.(Lving rm also provided with LCD TV). Most importantly, the room was quite sound proof and I had peaceful and sound sleep during my stay as I had previous experiences staying in old quarter district hotel with very bad sound proof effect with terrible car/motor horning, dog barking and baby crying throughout the night.
The breakfast could be faulted considering value for money. The locations was perfect with night markets/shops and restaurants easy accessible by foot.
I would definately stay again in this hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Must visit the night market which is only 100m away with all bargain stuffs. But please remember to bing along your Hotel card as you could be easily lost when venture too far and every streets seems/alleys the same.

Great value for money hotel
Wifi, cleaniness of the room, staff were very friendly

boss hotel is close to the ho kiem lake. it has good accessibility for the local market for shopping, food & site seeing. the rooms were clean and tidy. however they did not have much vegetarian options for breakfast, so there is a indian restaurant just opposite to the boss hotel named "namaste hanoi". this restaurant serves authentic indian food ranging from south indian, north indian, chinese etc & the taste was exceptional.
Shopping Tip:
This hotel is close to the local market
