Wonderful boutique hotel with 5 star service
The hotel is new with clean rooms, a great location in the old quarter, and probably the best service we have experienced anywhere.

We have never felt so welcome staying at a hotel. The staff (Mary, Linda, Mr. Dee and David) were all enthusiastic to help us discover Hanoi and gave great tips to suit our needs. They went out of their way to make our stay special.

Fantastic choice for Hanoi

We stayed for 9 nights at this hotel and it was fantastic. The room was spacious and spotless, and nicely decorated with plenty of storage. The location is good, walking distance from the lake and in the heart of the old quarter. The service is really fabulous, the staff all go out of the way to be friendly and as helpful as possible. Whether you need taxis, assistance, recommended places to visit or eat, or something for your room, any member of staff here will go that extra mile. Extra touches that we're appreciated were the fruit and water in the room each day and the computer with free Internet. The room was well equipped too. We would definitely return and recommend this hotel.

Excellent Value Hotel in Old Quarter

You really can't beat the class of hotels in Vietnam, particularly Hanoi. The beds are on the (very) hard side, but that's pretty much the only downside; everything else about the stay here was great. The staff was extremely friendly and cheerful; the room was clean, spacious, and equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi and in-room computer; inclusive breakfast was excellent; the location in the heart of the Old Quarter can't be beat. What more do you need from a hotel in this range?

Lovely hotel with great service

This was an awesome choice for Hanoi, good location walking distance from lake and old quarter, and short taxi ride from sites like the temple of literature. Room was spotless and well equipped, and the housekeeping each day was excellent. The staff were outstanding throughout our stay, going out of their way to assist with all sorts and being friendly and welcoming at all times. There was nothing to fault at any stage.

The staff definitely go over and beyond for you. The room is very spacious and clean.
It's very central and you'll enjoy the walk to the old quarter and the bridge as well.
If you need a taxi - they will book it for you and always ask how much it will costs so the driver doesn't overcharge you.
Travel tip:
Get them to organise your transfers to and fro the airport - it's only USD18 each way and the driver is great.

Go out of the way to satisfy your requests...

This is in addition to my previous review where I stayed another couple of nights after returning from Halong Bay.
Would like to add that the hotel were more than happy to take care of my luggage until I returned from Halong Bay. They let me leave the stuff in my old room and had it waiting for me in my new room by the time I returned. This was in addition to all my other little requests for help and advice during my stay here.
Great service.
