The Church Hotel is ok

The Church Boutique Hotel is ok, it has a great location and there a lots of nice restaurants and bars around. However, the rooms are tiny (I stayed in the deluxe rooms) and the reception staff is not always friendly and helpful. Overall there are better hotels in Hanoi for this price.

english was sometimes hard. but fun.
Balcony Room was great, power issues when we were there 3 1/2 days out of four was on generator due to power outtage. Staff were very nice but english wasnt always easy. Good location though

Bathroom was really strange being open glass for the rest of Hanoi to watch you wash ... but what happens in hanoi stays in Hanoi. Would stay there again !

Very good hotel, easy access to the Old Quarter
The deluxe suite rooms are light and airy and of a good size with a view of the street. The staff are helpful and try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

both of mine bookings with this group did not arrive in advance. At our check in, staff had to prepare paperwork all over again and seriously, if I did not speak the local language it would be have a frustrating endeavour. Nonetheless, we were shown to our room and although small, it suited our purpose for somewhere to stay for 16 hours. overall,hotel is worth the money.
