Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The service was very friendly and the location was excellently situated to the city centre and all its attractions and shopping. Was a bit disappointed with the bathroom in our particular room(the bath/shower was really hard to use) and the bed was really hard (but this seems to be the case across the country so may be normal). Would highly recommend the hotel however.

Hotel is a gem that is within walking distance to Old Hanoi. We stayed at one of the deluxe room at the rear. It is spacious and quiet. Agoda's rate comes with breakfast and much cheaper than booking at hotel itself.
Travel tip:
Tours can be booked through hotel or through many of the agencies through out the area. Gia Bao Grand is not far from its sister hotel Gia Bao Hotel and both are located in the heart of Old Hanoi. Lots of restaurants around the area - lots of choices.

we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. it was a great time and the stuff was everytime friendly. we also booked some tours to halong bay and sapa at the hotel, the woman there was friendly and she tried to help us (because the trip to sapa was bad organized). the breakfast was great with a big variety. it's in the centre near the hoa chiem lake.

we treated ourselves to the presidential suite, while a little delapitated was still very grand and good fun. lovely breakfast and nice helpful staff. the other rooms looked very nice too. would def. reccomend.
Restaurant Tip:
try the bai hoi bars close by cheap beer and fantastic food too.

Hotel is well appointed with a good location close to many attractions. Breakfast served is just good enough eggs,fruit some asia dishes. Rooms are nice and modern with spacious bathroom. Be sure to check out weekend night market within walking distance from hotel

We spent two days in Hanoi and could see the main sightseeins because our hotel was only ten minutes walking from them. In the hotel we could rest in the very comfortable room.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel is situated close to sigtseeing, but has a big advantage since is placed in the calm street.

The service is warm and friendly. The Staff went out of their way at all times to make our stay more comfortable. The Staff were very accommodation regarding minding our luggage between our mini trips to and from Hanoi. It was nice to have access the internet 24hrs a day for free as we were keeping contact with hotels and such for this vacation via the internet. It was a very central location for exploring the old quarter and surrounds. Rooms were neat and clean and maintained. Overall this hotel made our travels comfortable and the staff were warm, friendly and very accommodating!!
