I met all good things here, I'll be back again for my business trip.

nope

My room is very clean and tidy. All staffs are very warm welcome and service-minded. This hotel is very good location for business trip because it's very conveniene to go anywhere and not too far from the airport. The restaurant here is very yummy and fresh. It's my best choice to stay here.

Swimming Pool and Japanese restaurant excellent

It was built in the early 90's so room bathrooms are a little dated.Showers are in bath tub.

The hotel is patronised by Korean and Japanese business clients so the hotel is certainly well maintained and staff are attentive. On checking in ,the staff were keen to offer upgrade to the club rooms.Worth it if you give the 'happy hour' 530 to 730pm a bash !

Restaurant Tip : Near the hotel are two lakes , one of which is surrounded by delightful coffee bars

A nice and comfortable place to stay for business. Guest Rating: 9

Accomodating, fruit plates provided, polite staff and very helpful.

None. I wish breakfast wouldn't be the same everyday.

I stayed in the new wing, furniture and decorations around the room are very nice. I checked in a room, but didn't have the street view, so I requested for change. They called me an hour later and moved me to an excellent location. I was very happy there.

Location, nice swimming pool. Nice eating spots in the hotel and walkabout. Nice entertainment

Very old, very poor staff attitude and service. Room equipments are run down.

Being one of the first 5 stars and reputated hotels in hanoi. I expected daewoo to be of international standard. If clients are expecting good service like other hotel in hanoi like intercontinental (i have stayed a few times), you will not get in hanoi daewoo. Staff is very poor service. Tour desk and cafe staff is helpful but the front desk is rubbish. I feel like visiting a 2 star hotel. The lighting and equipments in the room are poor and maybe because of the age. It really need to upgrade to meet 5 star standard. The pros will be the very nice japanese dinning spot in the hotel, and lobby cafe and the swimming pool.

Hotel was clean and staff service was good a good restaurant is in the 1rd floor.

souvenir shop is somewhat expensive compared with duty shop in the airport

I think this hotel is very clean and well maintained. You can expect any help you want from the the staffs. Just a 5 minutes walking distance, there is a local park with cheap entrance fee and can feel leisure of hanoi people. Any way it was good for my family

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There is a park as well as a local zoo.

weekend buffet!

a bit far away from the old city like ho hoan kiem.

I tried this hotel and it was ok however, considering local prices room rate is quite expensive. since there are more reasonable hotels in and around the city, i could have more choices. probably those who are non-english speakers this hotel would be better. i was thinking of swimming in the pool but it was too cold to swim so i gave up. the weekend buffet was nice to those who wanna try seafood from nha trang such as lobsters shells and so forth. i liked the staffs there. quite friendly. i may come back for week end buffet again if there is a chance!

1) Awesome buffets\n2) Exclusive club floor\n3) One of a kind outdoor pool and garden\n4) Uncluttered rooms\n5) Excellent view of the lake\n6) Well appointed business center

1) Breakfast buffet lacks breadth

My stay was pure business. The client was Korean and had chosen the hotel as the venue. My focus was more on the business center than the hotel room. The BC is well appointed and coordinated our needs very smoothly. I have mixed reviews on dining options. The elaborate Chinese lunch at the Silk Road was served so slowly that we ran out of time with one main course and deset left untouched. The international buffets for lunch and dinner were par excellence. The Club lounge is not large but has this feel of exclusivity.

Restaurant Tip : Try the Italian restaurant on the first floor.
