A lovely hotel with the most helpful staff we found on our trip of the far east. The room was very well equipped and had a computer with free unlimited access to it which was very useful to us. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Provided us with a take away breakfast when we departed early for the airport.
Very well equiped room
Minimal natural daylight in the room

Alright hotel, it's clean, bad breakfast but you will eat it anyway. Friendly staff. We stayed here for 2 nights and found something a lot cheaper and better around the corner.
Location, comfortable beds, good staff.
Bad breakfast, not living up to its value.
- Shopping Tip : Hong Bong St. has some of the best shops, but beware if you are male and above the size of medium to extra Large. Vietnam will not have anything in your size.
good location but still quiet

A centrally located hotel but still quiet. A kind of a boutique hotel with a small lobby. The rooms were fine and very clean. Every room had it's own computer with a free internet access. A feature I very well appreciated.
The staff was very polite and friendly.
Would I go there again? Certainly yes, in the case I ever would return to Hanoi.
The only downside was the breakfast. The coffee - maybe that's the vietnamese way- inedible. The so called croisant was anything but a croissant.
Central Location.
Boutique hotel with a personal touch.
Nice and clean rooms.
The breakfast.

This is a great hotel to stay. I will recommend my friends in their next trip. Rooms are of excellent quality and clean. Quiet despite of the hustle and bustle outside the street. Convenient in terms of location, near shopping area and food outlets.
When I arrived outside the hotel, it didnt impress me at all. When checked in, the hotel lobby had pleasant feel and the rooms are fantastic. It is clean and of standard. Staff attitude is perfect and great customer's service.
The only weakness is the timing for serving breakfast in the morning. It would be better if they could speed up the process.

I would strongly recommend the Elegance Hotel chain. Their staff in particular were incredibly friendly and helpful and made the stay very easy. Also the rooms were extremely clean and well serviced and breakfast was excellent (and lots of it!). Overall I would strongly recommend staying at this Hotel chain and I will certainly use them again if I go back to Hanoi.
Excellent service and very friendly staff.
Good quality and clean rooms
Liked the fruit that was supplied each day.
Good breakfast
No complaints at all
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't forget to take a map when you leave the hotel as you can get lost in Hanoi so easily.

Located within the Old Quarter, the Elegance 3 is a great hotel close to all parts of the city. The staff are courteous, helpful and professional in their dealings with clients. The breakfast was excellent. I could not fault this hotel and will stay there the next time I am in Hanoi. They even helped us locate a hotel close by for an extra night as they were booked.
Computer, friendly. professional staff.
Breakfast is limited.
A friendly welcome

We knew this was a budget hotel and as such didn't expect too much from the rooms. What makes this hotel special is the staff. They are very friendly and eager to help with any request you have. Happily stored our bags for us for a couple of days while we went to Halong Bay even though we were not staying at the hotel on our return. Very good recommendations of local bars and restaurants ensured that we had a great stay in Hanoi. Breakfast was basic but OK.
Staff at the hotel are very helpful and keen to ensure you see the best of the city
Location OK for exploring sites if you don't mind a bit of a walk
Rooms were very basic

Great attitude of service. On arrival we received a welcome drink and a map of the city with suggestions of restaurants, sightseeing & shopping areas along with the business card of the hotel to use if we needed help to get back to the hotel. The staff were very helpful, communicated in English and ensured we had a nice stay. The room (although it didn't have a window to the outside - just into the hall) was great. It even had a computer with Internet access right in the room.
Location, welcome and materials received on arrival, staff.
Breakfast didn't have the variety that buffets have but ... you could have anything you wanted from the menu (including more than one thing from the menu).
- Restaurant Tip : Koto restaurant across the street from the Temple of Literature is well worth visiting. Street kids are given health care, a bicycle and place to live and are being taught cooking and front of house skills in the restaurant business so they will have a career ahead of them. It is worth supporting them. The food is good as well.

The staff was nice though they were stingy with giving us towels. The last day I was there, they only gave us 1 towel, the next morning when we checked out, they asked us why there was only one towel and not two!
English speaking staff
The bathroom needs to be renovated. Breakfast was not that great either.
