The staff was nice but very trying. Want to arrange tours for you and they charge you must higher than other agency. I booked one day’s tour to Ha Long Bay. They charge me $22. When I later ask the other people on that trip from other hotel and agency they had only pay between $16 and $18. It is small money but you feel that you get a bit swindled all the time from the staff of this hotel. Hanoi’s old quarter are great but next time will I stay at some other hotel like "New Paradise Hotel" I mention earlier.
- Nightlife Tip : Red Beer Bar has pleasant surroundings with pleasant staff. They also have the only pool table in the old quarter.
