pleasant hotel and great service

the hotel is ideally located in the old quarters of Hanoi with plenty of food and shops. as such noise is unavoidable but bearable since the hotel is such close to market area where the vendors are up and early selling their produces. the service is fantastic especially they tried their best to communicate in what little english they know. tho the hotel provided breakfast, it's miserably of little choices and cold, i supposed it's due to the occupancy of the hotel (not many guests). overall it's a nice hotel with good service and location.
Shopping Tip:
food sold on the street is really 'cut throat', we paid 70,000 dong for 4 small pieces of steamed tapioca!

We stayed here for a very short time in transit from the airport to ha long bay. We arrived very late and most places were closed. The hotel staff were friendly and rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If arriving late make sure you see the hotel before you leave the taxi, as the taxis dont go down the lane. One of us stayed with the taxi while the other one went down to check the hotel as it was quite dark. You should be able to see the hotel sign from where they drop you off.

Located very near to the old quarters in Hanoi。 Convinence store around the corner。Located off a street of money changers。 Only thing is there is no sign outside to indicate the hotel and taxi driver get lost sometimes。Breakfast can be improved。

My boyfriend and I came here with my dad and brother. We couldn't fault the hotel a all, staff helped us book our Halong bay tour plus train tickets for when we left Hanoi. Staff were very helpful and friendly :-)

The hotel is newly opened in Aug 2012.
The location is very good as it is in the old quarters.
The hotel is clean.
Wifi connection is good.
Cons:-
I had a room facing the small road in front of the hotel and it gets noisy at 6am. So try to get a room not facing the road.
My room does not have a table although it is supposed to be a Deluxe room. It will be helpful.
Overall, the hotel is value for money and would stay here again.

Stayed here for 1 night, with only 30$ this hotel was beyond expectation. Though small, but the room was clean & shower was good, that's all we need. Plus wifi was free & fast. The breakfast was many traditional variety & that's good. Perfect.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't forget to go to Hoan Kim Lake & watch water puppet show, it's worth the price
