Awesome Suite
Everyone is helpful and location is awesome

stayed here for 3 days. enjoyed the room actually. we had 4 of us in 1 room. 2 tvs. great toilet. pricing was ok for the suite. just that we had to top up some cash for the extra 3 person which was very inconvenient. other than that the hotel was superb. we liked it very much. will stay there again when i go hanoi again.

Royal View Room is a rip off

we booked a royal view room and paid per night with the belief from agoda review the room would have a great lake view !!!. we were mislead, what we saw from the room and the small balcony was the roofs of next building, no lake view. this is a rip off and we will ask agoda to refund some of the money. hotels in hanoi is cheap and we would not pay more than for a room in this hotel. for over per night you can get a true 5 star hotel such as melia, horison..etc
the room is ok, location is great, but do not count on breakfast. it is very average even for vietnamese standards
Travel tip:
Do not believe the description in Agoda site, use your common sense. A hotel in this location with a frontage of 6m wide cannot be that great to comamnd a high tarriff.
Also do NOT book your tour or any travel via the hotel, just go shopping you will find much better deals

we were upgraded to the suite so definitely a good point for friendliness. not sure if because we checked in late and our room category was full or not. the suite was located on the top of the hotel with a balcony with a view on the old quarter. the suite comprised of spacious living room en suite of the bedroom. spacious shower room, no bathtub though. everything was well designed a looked fresh, room well equipped with 2 t.v and one laptop at our disposal too.
location was near at the hoan kiem lake, at the beginning of the old quarter streets.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Near Hoan Kiem lake.

Great location in Hanoi, very close to the water puppets and street shopping. Very central to sightseeing as you can walk from one side of old quarter to the other. The staff are very friendly but unreliable for early wake up calls. Prepare to put your own phone on to wake you up. The Internet access was great with wireless on every level and a laptop on every room.

We booked an extra night here after a tour of Halong Bay. Hotel is right in the buzz of the Old Quarter, which can be a bit of an assualt on the senses at times! Staff are friendly, and always helpful.

This is one of the best hotel I've stayed.The staffs make this hotel outstanding.they always welcome you with big smiles and always ready to answer all your question about the direction,restaurant,taxi...The room is so nice,clean and big with free fruit and water and even a laptop inside to use.The location is so great just 1 minute walking to famous Hoan Kiem Lake,all shopping center and restaurant.Just 2 minute walk from the hotel to the good restaurant named Green Tangerine with goo french food.
The buffet breakfast is so good as well, I love Noodle chicken made by Chef of hotel.I would come back here soonest

location of hotel was good. room is up to expectation. but for people booking a tour to sapa, please make arrangement with the hotel as you will arrive back to the hotel early in the morning like 5-6am. the main door will be lock and you will have to stand in the cold wind. luckily, one staff saw us and open the door to us after 15mins. but could not check in until 12pm.
