Small but cosy hotel with a difference

The hotel is located conveniently in the tourist district, almost everyone in the street is a tourist, so there is no need to be shy to ask a fellow tourist for directions in english. The hotel rooms are big and spacious although the hotel looks small from the outside. It is well known and taxi drivers know where it is without much trouble.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel is located in the main tourist district, making it convenient for travellers.

Quaint hotel with great location
you don't need to go far to go shopping. everything is a few streets away.

with very reasonable rates, equally good service. the staff was very helpful and speak english well. their beds were a bit hard , though.
Shopping Tip:
For food gifts back home, best to go to the nearest supermarket (2 blocks away from hotel) and check out your options. Most are cheaper than those sold at the little shops near the hotel.

We stayed for one night at the end of May. There were 4 adults so we booked 2 superior rooms. At first we stayed at the 7th floor but the elevator only reached to the 6th, so we had to take the stairs, but this isn't a problem. One room was surprisingly upgraded into Suite without charge. The other room's AC wasn't working, and they moved us quickly into a Suite on the 4th floor!
The room is clean and the staffs are very hospitable, all smile and always willing to help. The wifi works very well and there's a computer in the room.

Hotel stored our extra lugguages at no charge until we return from Ha Long Bay trip. Must visit Ha Long Bay!

The hotel was located in a perfect area. Walking distance to the lake and all the colourful streets in Hanoi.
The staff was helpful and kind. The only thing that can be improved is the breakfast.
Restaurant Tip:
Eat at the Green Tangerine for fine dining and ambience. Eat on a side street on the small stools with the locals for street food!
