This was a great hotel for the money, clean, friendly and in a superb location in Hanoi's Old Quarter. I stayed in both an executive and a deluxe room. The executive room was very spacious and the deluxe was small but well appointed. The beds were comfortable and despite the central location it was quiet at night. The staff at Reception were very helpful and helped me book a bus to Catba Island, even going out to buy the ticket for me. The only drawback was the breakfast which did not have much choice and was not particularly well presented. All in all I would stay there there again if I went to Hanoi, mainly because of its wonderful location.
The girls on the reception desk were very helpful and friendly. The executive room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic, right in the middle of the Old Quarter and close to the lake.
Breakfast was poor, not much choice.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Book early for the Water Puppet theatre as the tickets go very quickly

We only stayed there for one night. So it was good enough. If you stay longer the rooms are a little bit to small I think. The location was very good becaues the hotel is located in the middle of the old town. The breakfast room is in the upper floors so you have a nice view. And the breakfast was good.
good located in the old town. friendly staff.
small rooms. mold in the bathroom.
- Hotel Feature Tip : In the hotel is located a massage salon.

Friendly staff committed to trying to communicate in English which is an asset in Vietnam. Overall a nice and 'warm' hotel with all facilities available.
If I come back to Hanoi for business I would certainly try and stay here again.
During our stay we had a few issues due to electrical disturbances. The staff however solved them all professionally but for those who do not want to have any inconveniences, try to realize that many things can go wrong in Vietnam.
- Friendly staff.
- Well versed in English (for Vietnamese standard).
- Excellent restaurant with a good variety on the menu.

- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel is in the heart of the old district, by stepping outdoors you are basically watching history unfold in front of you.
Nice to see is Dong Xuan market, a few minutes walking where you can literally buy anything.
