Very helpful front desk

No window in room. Dim lighting. Cell like atmosphere in room. Toilet seat was broken (wouldn't stay up) Air-con was weak. Street in front of hotel was under construction.
When we checked in our hotel it seemed nice enough until we got to our room. It had no windows so it seemed very dim and bleak. The A/C didn't work that well and we had a toilet seat that wouldn't stay up. The breakfast buffet was very good except the coffee was black as tar and was always luke warm. The location was good and you could walk to restuarants and shopping. Except for the room, there were some pluses to staying there. I still didn't think is was worth the price.

- Very convenient for the Old Town and most tourist attractions in the city.
- Helpful pleasant staff.
- Close to many bars and restaurents
- Close to many agencies that sell tourist tours
- Little old fashioned (but perfectly acceptable)
- Limited attention paid to fire escape (no details of escape routes in the rooms).
- Limited internet facilities (only one computer for the whole hotel - no internet in hotel rooms)
Generally a very good hotel, with helpful staff that is very well located for the major tourist attractions and the agencies that supply tours. Being in the center of the Old Town it is surrounded by activity and night life.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Arrange your tours early - there are plenty of agencies close to the hotel.

The "fitness center" is a joke.
This hotel is probably one of the best values in the Old Quarter. It has more character than similarly priced hotels in the area, the breakfast buffet is good, and the rooms (at least the one I stayed in) are quiet. Recommended.
