Nikko hotels are known in Asia. This was a clean, nice hotel but the service end was lacking. It took 5 trips to rooms (yes, we were taking our bags from room to room) to find two beds, non smoking room. Why they could not figure this out upon check in is beyond me. Also, it was requested on our paperwork months ago. Huge language barrier here. Four phone calls for instant coffee for the room bar - four deliveries of hot chocolate. When you are tired, the simple things become important! I will not stay here again (this is my 12th trip to Hanoi)
Clean, semi-located in good area
Communication with staff difficult.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Be very clear with the transport services of the fees they will charge. Language barrier is a problem so listen carefully.
Nice and cozy except some noise from trainGuest Rating: 4.7

The atmosphere is a bit Japanese. I had a king size bed for my stay. The room is big for single stay. The breakfast is average for 5 star hotels. The price is very reasonable for 5 star hotel in Hanoi compared with other 5 star hotels. I would definitely use it next time.
Nice and cozy with good service
Sometimes you can hear the horn from the railway train.
