Convient Location. Pleasure to stay there. Very clean. A modern hotel. Internet available. Will help you with the WI-FI as it can be a problem to Facebook in Vietnam. Good Buffet Breakfast. Rest rooms on the ground floor in the waiting area. Travel desk will put you on a good boat tour to Halong Bay.
Nightlife Tip:
Get game and catch a motor bike taxi. There are quicker but you have to haggle the price first.

Highly reccomend this! clean and great service

we booked this on agoda one hour before we got to hanoi. best last minute decision ever. we were immediately greeted at our taxi, given fresh watermelon juice at the counter, and had a very, very simple check-in, especially considering we had just booked it online. they gave us a map and pointed out all sorts of different sights. our room was beautiful, especially considering the price. we didn't hear any construction work. the one con is that the rooms aren't well soundproofed, so you can hear the tv from other people's rooms. when our room was too warm and we couldn't figure out the thermostat, the front desk immediately responded and took care of it. i am going to recommend this place to all my friends.
Nightlife Tip:
Hanoi is very quiet during Chinese New Year. Not much is open.

the room & breakfast are ok (below average), but the people in rising dragon are giving you the best smile everyday, which gives you the happiness for the day. it is important while traveling.

Great hotel, value for money

I got this hotel at a bargain price and was expecting much less than what I got. The staff were lovely, the hotel breakfast was good, and the location was fantastic. We walked everywhere from the Rising Dragon - with a good map provided by them. But the best thing about this place was the super comfortable bed, after travelling in Laos it was like sleeping on a cloud! If I was to say anything bad it would be the ultra thin walls, I could hear just about every movement in the hotel... including the food shoot thing throughout the night.

This is my first trip to hanoi and I have no idea where to go and the attraction. Good to have friendly advised by hotel receptionies.
Restaurant Tip:
Walking distant around 10 min. Have very nice noddles soup.

Geat Location and good rooms

Stayed here twice. One of the best hotels I stayed at on my trip to Vietnam. Can walk down to the main tourist area of the old Quarter or catch a motor bike taxi if you are game. Friendly staff helped me sort out a double boat trip booking. Can leave your postcards for mailing.

it's about 40 min from hotel to the airport. the service here is surprising and impressive although the hardware capacities need to be improved. staffs are very warm hearted and professional. don't hesitate to tell the staffs when you need any help.
Restaurant Tip:
near the hotel, there's a very small lane where you can find a lot of restaurants serving local food (about 5-7 min walk). pls ask reception for information.
