Families with older children Malaysia, December 29, 2011	Best 4 stars available Hotel is very clean, convenient location 8.3 convenient location. short walk to hoan kiem lake. hotel is very clean - everything is dust free, linens are fresh and crisp, shower is strong (water temperature can be controlled well). hotel room is comfy and clean. toilet accessories are top class (villeroy & boch sinks, german taps & shower head). hotel food relatively nice although buffet breakfast is slightly expensive. not many choices for ala carte. concierge manager is very helpful and speaks good english. if i had to nitpick, it would be that the shower is slightly difficult to operate.

Couples Italy, December 26, 2011	Very excellent hotel about everything Very confortable rooms, cleaness, kindness, position. 10 we stayd here for three nights very well. you have many reasons to reserve in this place: the hotel is very quite neverthless the position (10 minutes from center city by walking) is excellent, the comfort is very good, the staff is very kind and available. we reserved again others 2 nights before our departure.

Fantastic room, however there is no lift so walking up flights of stairs can become tiring. Would choose the hotel again if we return to Sapa. 8 Really enjoyed this hotel and would choose to stay again.

No view outside. Travel tip: If you can afford it, try the Metropole. Silk Path Hotel is fine, but Metropole is transcendent.

The hotel is new, the design is very great and the internet speed is reasonable. When I book the room, I didn't include the breakfast, thus regret that I didn't try it. However the hotel didn't provide massage service, so I need to go to nearest spa for my massage. However the location is great as it is in the old quarters area, thus there is no problem if you need to shop or finding the restaurants. The cons of this hotel is the room is too small.

Nice spa on top floor wit steam room, sauna and spa. Good breakfast buffet with pho'. Nice italian resturuant with good food.

Couples United States of America, November 22, 2011	Perfect for us extremely comfortable room, great hotel breakfast, good location, clean 9.7 we really enjoyed our stay. the room was big and comfortable as well as clean. there were a lot of english channels which helped when my boyfriend was ill one evening (nothing related to vietnam). the hotel staff were very helpful. the hotel bkfast was inexpensive and delicious. a lot of fresh options. the location of the hotel was great for exploring the old quarter and served as a nice escape from the madness. even though it is a little more expensive than other hotels in the area, we felt extremely comfortable and satisfied with our decision to stay there. we actually went to hong kong last wk and stayed at a place for twice the price and commented on how much better the breakfast was at the silk path hotel. :) enjoy! Restaurant Tip: We had dinner at Verticale one evening. Pretty pricey ( for two including wine and a TON of food). Fantastic food and service. Worth a visit. You can definitely get away with spending less there if you dont order three appetizers and a bottle of wine :)

Couples United Kingdom, October 23, 2011	Lovely helpful bell boys and smart clean rooms Baggage handlers and reception staff 7.3 the location is good for those that don't want the hustle and bustle on their doorstep. the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating and although the rooms are clean and smart they are very small! we booked a premium delux which had a view of a wall about a foot away on one side and very little daylight from another small window. after requesting another room we were given an upgrade at no additional cost. as this was the last leg of our trip the comparative cost and room size didn't rival our accommodation in con dao, phu quoc or hcmc however it's a perfectly respectable establishment.
