The Sofitel does not charge children under 12 years of age if they are staying in a room occupied by parents and using the existing bedding. This is limited to one child per family, however, and additional fees will be charged should parents require a rollaway bed or cot.

For children 3 years and below, breakfast is complimentary. For children between the ages of 3 and 12 breakfast is charged but at a special children’s rate, while those above 12 years of age are charged the same rate as an adult.

service very good

no free hotel transfers from airport was a bit disappointing

staff extreamly polite and helpful excellent buffet breakfast. bit out of town,shuttle runs every hour used to be every half hour.

Friendly and helpful staffs. Beautiful lake scenery. Quiet in the night. Wonderful room service for breakfast.

a bit far to the city center,but the taxi fares are low enough to neglect.

Around the hotel, I can easily buy water for low price (10000VND) for 1.5 liters water. The security control is good also, guards protected each entrance of the hotel. The Friendly concierge helped me a lot for making restaurant reservation and instructions to the location I wanted to go. There is nothing to be complained. But I recommended to stay in the room that can see lake view.

I would like to go again

Clean room with fantastic view.

the shower place in the bathroom didn't design well, which let the water flow out to the floor

We had several meeting in the lounge, include welcome drinks and fruits. compare with other hotel I stayed before in Vietnam, the tap water in sofitel is not smelly. I really enjoyed the shower after staying outside. Anyway, I very good hotel if you want to find a quiet and comfortable place in hanoi.
