Location is great,comfort excellent.The hotel only needs a maintenance man.I moved from the front room 5th floor(Church bells and conversations on street)to the back room(much better)I suggest an 03 room level 5 and up. would stay again

This hotel doesn't respect its customers and obviously value cash over service. For that reason alone I would advise against staying at the hotel. The only plus point was the guy on the front desk in the morning who paid for our taxi out of there.

back street mini-hotel.
it may be difficult to get there if you take taxi from airport because car can’t come in the street. you can be away from noise of traffic in hanoi city center and enjoy local restaurants around there. reception stuffs are pretty good and helpful in anytime. room is small but enough to sleep. wifi is no problem.

My room was at the top to oversee the cathedral, which is very beautiful.
Although the bells of the church is noisy (sorry to say) early in the morning, the bed is comfortable and room is very cozy.
The staff of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. There are some choices of the breakfast and I do recommend to have the local food, which is very tasty. It is good to have the computer in the room and free wifi.
The road in front of the hotel is narrow, so, the car can't come in.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It is really very near to the church and you can visit the church, although I didn't because I'm not christian.

Lovely hotel in great location

Once you find the place and you get your bearings you realise what a great location this hotel has. The rooms are large, modern and clean and fantastic value for money. We have stayed in this hotel twice now and would return again should we pass through Hanoi.
The lake is a 5 minute walk and there are many restaurants for all budgets within a two min walk.

felt friendly, helpful and safe. we looked after everytime.
room was tidy, clean good equipment. the bonus is computer with wifi for free and dvd in room, fridge very useful – tea and coffee facility were good.
breakfast was very nice – best range the other hotels in hanoi.
very good service, anything wrong was fixed immediately, felt very safe. will stay again for next trip in hanoi.

Should come to visit St' Joshep Cathedral, Ngoc Son temple and Hoan Kiem lake, Ho Chi Minh complex.

the hotel is located along a small lane, inacessible by car. our taxi had to drop us around the block. however this did not pose a problem as the walk to the hotel was a short one. the staff at hotel was helpful and would arrange taxi transport as and when required. they also helped us with our luggage.
the city map provided by the hotel was very useful. we were able to walk to the shops and restaurants in the old quarters, which usually took not more than 10 to 15 minutes.

i stayed only 1 night and felt everything was seemed easy. just walking to get out, it is in the old hanoi. the room well furnished and have a nice view. though when i came back and did not stay more (preparing to get train to danang), but they were willing to welcome and offer the bathroom for shower and rest place. when i left and got the train, the bellboy took care me at train station with smile and kind help.
breakfast was just good with local bread and milk and the service was friendly.
the staff was dynamic and knowledge. it is a budget hotel and value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
This hotel near St's Joshep Cathedral, spend 4 or 5 minutes to walk to Sword lake, Ngoc Son temple...
