Hotel is right in the old town and close to several good bars and places to eat. The hotel is very small and is currently being expanded. This means building noise at the moment and that the windows in some rooms have been bricked up. Our room had a bricked up window but unfortunately this did not seem to reduce noise levels. However, the noise here is unlikely to be worse than any other Hanoi hotel.
Breakfast was fine, freshly cooked omelette or pho, served in the lobby (as above, the hotel is v small!). However, it was very distubing to see the washing up being done on the floor of the toilet next to the reception desk!! Some things are better not to know.
Rooms are clean and fairly comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Im sure you could do much worse than stay here if you want to be in the Old Quarter of Hanoi.

Great room with nice decor and extremely clean. Good location and friendly staff. We could not find anything trouble us We had an excellent stay at Sunrise hotel while in Hanoi. The rooms were clean, fairly large for european standards, and the bed was soft. The bathroom was nice and also large for asian standards. The breakfast was nice, have a lot of things to choice: meats, cheeses, eggs, cereals, pastries, juice, and coffee... ect. There was a free internet station in the lobby also. The location is great for exploring Hanoi. Thank you Sunrise hotel and I wont be staying anywhere else in the future.

I can't say much good about this hotel. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go to Halong Bay but book your trip outside because in the hotel they charge you double as usual.
