Best location and beautiful hotel.

Hotel staff were very friendly and spoke enough English to communicate well. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Good location for shopping at markets. Hotel prices were good. Superior room was a bit small but very clean and satisfy in overall services. Would definitely recommend this hotel if your traveling through Hanoi for a short visit.
Travel tip:
Contact Kenny Thai to book the Halong Bay in advance to get upgraded and cheaper price. Pick up service is also very helpful.

the rooms are neat, very clean and extremely comfortable. it was possible to hear other guests moving about within the hotel from time to time, but noise from the busy street outside was barely audible. internet access is readily available in each room by way of a computer and wi-fi is also available. both worked efficiently. staff was extremely friendly and helpful. they helped us to book all our excursions in hanoi, halong,sapa and train tickets to the south. everything was perfect and perfect.

Objective was to get to see Hanoi. This hotel as well placed for this being within walking distance of much that we wanted to see.
Shopping Tip:
well made leather goods, not too expensive but nevertheless a wide range of asked prices for the same item so worth shopping around and doing a bit of barbaining.

We got all what we expected from a good hotel, clean room, friendly staff and perfect location. We also highly recommend the Eclipse Cruise boat at Halong Bay which we booked via this hotel.

The sfaffs were very friendly, speaking fluent English, also arranged one day tour to Halong Bay for us with reasonable price. the room was also very clean and quite. one point is that the room i stayed didn't have window. but totally fantastic hotel which i will choose next time in Hanoi

Reasonable hotel

I was travelling with a mate and despite us booking a twin room, we were given a double room. We ended up doing the Eric and Ernie routine as there was no other option. Other than that, the hotel was a bit grubby and needs a lick of paint and, definitely, some new carpets. It was OK for a couple of days, but would not want to spend longer than that there.
Shopping Tip:
Be prepared to be badgered to death in Hanoi, and try to keep calm, as there are bargains to be had if you can keep your cool. After two weeks, you may your patience being sorely tested; mine was and, in the end, I was glad to get out of this city.

Nice hotel with great staff
Beautiful room with free Laptop in the room. Good buffet breakfast and very convenient location for visiting old town.

stayed for 3 nights and we are sure thaison palace perhaps being the best hotel in hanoi now. everything was perfect from room, breakfast, staff, wifi...we booked pick- up service and halong bay trip for 2 days/ 1 night in advance via email and got good price. the boat was new, clean and very modern. tour guide, transportation, food... were excellent too. all in all thaison is perfect!

this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in with regard to value, service, and friendliness. we booked just 1 night but extended 2 more nights. this hotel arranged our tours which were perfect, with a much nicer and newer boat in halong bay than many people we met and a great guide in sapa. they went out of their way to be helpful in more ways than i can list here. i would definitely return here if we return to hanoi!! perfect thaison palace hotel! we do not agree with some average points review for this hotel and we think they were cheated and brought to other hotels by local taxi drivers at hanoi airport. so should contact thaison for pick up service after booking.

Great hotel !

it was a really good hotel in central of hanoi. it was an amazing hotel. people always welcome guest with big smile.room ,service , breakfast... everything was perfect. we booked the tour to sapa, hoa lu- tam coc and transfer to hoi an, hue... via ( very helpful and honest guy). everything was perfect and you wont be disappointed for sure when u stayed here. anyways will come back here for sure.
