we had a very good hotel and spent all our lovely days at great hotel with nice service. our rooms were nice and spacious, very clean, the staff were knowledgeable and very helpful, a quality that is rare in hanoi. we booked the pick-up service via and got excellent service and price was so good as well. he also helped us to booked trip to halong bay on golden lotus cruise with ocean view cabin and we got a good dealt and highlight this boat for quality and safe.

Poor lighting, The air conditioner didn't work, the bathroom flooded after every use, mildewed linen in use and the breakfast was littered with insects. The staff were friendly but seemed totally oblivious to the pitfalls in and around the hotel.

The hotel is location at Hang Voi street which is only a 5 mins walk to the lake. The hotel staff is very nice. They were a little slow when we try to check in on the 26th. We came at 2 plus in the afternoon and waited for about 25 mins before our rooms were ready. The furnishing in the hotel is rather old but acceptable. Breakfast is very basic but also acceptable for the price of the hotel that we paid for. Overall we are quite satisfied with our stay at this 3 star hotel.

Without doubt, it is a perfect choice
Location of the hotel is great, near to amenities and 2 minutes walking to the lake. Rooms are nice, big enough, and bright-decorated and provide modern furniture.

We love this hotel for the very kind staff who are always willing to help us. The location of this hotel is excellant, it is just a 5 to 10 mins walk from the lake and the water puppet threatre. There are a lot of shops and tour agency near the hotel. I would recommend tourist to book the tour from the outside tour agency instead from the hotel because the hotel charges a very high price as compared to outside. We paid more than double the price of the same tour when we booked from the hotel who also refuse to give us any discount. This is the only minus point abt the hotel. Other than that, we are quite satisfied with the overall stay at thaison palace hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Book the Halon Bay tour and Sapa tour from tour agency outside the hotel. Their charges are much cheaper and prices can be negotiated if you are travelling with a bigger group or if you are booking several tours together. Average price of Halong Bay 2D1N tour is about $80 per pax and Sapa 3N2D tour is $70. We paid $125 for Halong Bay and $140 for Sapa when we booked through the hotel.

I like this small hotel, location is good, close to a lot of icon place in hanoi, service is wonderful with a personal touch, i also like their mini breakfast buffet thing, good beef pho, guys and girls who work there, keep up the good work, see you soon.

i stayed at thaison palace hotel for 10 days and everything went well. the location is excellent.
i had a very good price for the room.
the breakfast is very good and with a lot of choices.
and above all, the staff is incredibly friendly and professional.
maybe for some it's a little bit noisy.
and be aware!
there's a beautiful little princess working there.

Best service and very good location
The rooms were clean and provided for a good nights sleep. The service was excellent at the front desk and the quality and amount of items for the breakfast buffet made the trip one to remember.
