Good location and good service. The room are very big with king size bed. The staff are very friendly, helpful and speak good English. The breakfast selection are also reasonable. The hotel is very near the famous lake and water puppet show. There are also and a lot of eating place and shopping place around the area.

Good location and good service

I live in a deluxe room on the eighth floor and was surprise that the room was extremely big. It can easily fit in two queen size bed, however, I was given a king size. The hotel was in good location, near the old town which make shopping very convenience and also near the lake which I love as there is a very lovely café there to enjoy the lake while having a cup of coffee.

Everything about this hotel was great. Staff - Very warm and welcoming and helped us with everything we needed and asked for. They even allowed us to use a room to shower 2 days after checking out. The manager is a very kind guy that is always very happy to help out.

rooms - very clean, biggest bed i have ever seen :) location - right at the edge of old town. very easy to access shopping, eating and sights. all in all we were very happy with our choice of hotel and would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone.

The best hotel in Hanoi
Our room was very nice - lovely beds, great internet, good bathroom and quiet air con. The location of the hotel is also very convenient and we found the attitude of the staff exceptional.

Contrary to other recent reviews we enjoyed our stay at Thaison Palace Hotel. We found the staff very helpful and friendly. On arrival we were greeted by Mr Moki who provided us with a drink and asked us about our stay in Hanoi including whether we needed to book any tours. When we explained we did not require any tours we then simply discussed what we might do in Hanoi before retiring to our room for a quick jetlagged kip. Our room was very nice - lovely beds, great internet, good bathroom and quiet air con. The location of the hotel is also very convenient and we found the attitude of the staff exceptional. They also looked after our baggage with no problem and it was completely safe. The last day we booked the car to some villages and Hanoi city tour via Mr. Moki and got excellent quality.

This hotel is located at walking distance from Jetstar shuttle bus station. When we arrived, front desk Ms.Anna took care of our check-in very professionally and gave us good recommendation for restaurants and quick tour around hotel. We were very happy with spacious clean room w/ strong air conditioning to cool us down (on the day we arrive the weather temperature was 35 C. The breakfast is average; good enough for value.

we were very lucky to choose an excellent hotel in hanoi 's heart! the location was fantastic, from the hotel we could walk to hoan kiem lake, hanoi opera house, dong xuan market and the restaurant in the old quarter...

we were very lucky to choose an excellent hotel in hanoi 's heart! the location was fantastic, from the hotel we could walk to hoan kiem lake, hanoi opera house, dong xuan market and the restaurant in the old quarter...the hotel looked new and quite beautiful. it was cheaper than the hotel we stayed before. the staff was very friendly, and eager to chat with us and help us call a taxi whenever we were going further away. we also booked our halong bay tours through thaison, and this was a good experience. we utilized their airport pickup service, and our driver met us at the airport (it was very late at night), and drove us back to the hotel in a very new ford suv. we were really impressed by the beauty of the hotel, the friendliness of all staff. it was not 5 star hotel, but i reckon you get much more than you pay for! we highly recommend to stay here.

an old hotel but located at a good location. around 5 minutes' walk to the places of interest. located very near to the town center. the rooms are huge but the room is a bit dirty and old. the reception counter is friendly and is able to recommend a good and honest taxi company. however the staffs tried to short change me on the usd - vnd conversion on the last day.

the room was big and luxurious - from the remote controlled and curtains, to the floor to ceiling windows , large wardrobes, bathtub , fluffy round chair in the bedroom toilet, additional living room toilet, generous and very clean towels, modern flat tv in the living room...back to the staff. the housekeeping staffs ensure that the rooms are kept clean and make up the rooms twice a day. we were pleasantly surprised to find the room cleaned after we returned from dinner. all in all this is the best hotel in hanoi.
