Absolutely wonderful - such a special hotel
The best hotel in Vietnam and we can highly recommend this hotel
10
We visited Hanoi with my family for a week in June 2011 and had the best time at Thaison Palace Hotel. The hotel is amazing - we were staying in the deluxe family room and I don't think any of us has ever had a more relaxing holiday. Our days started with buffet breakfast in the restaurant at lobby - amazing service, food and no kids (not that I dislike kids, I'd just rather have silence with my age). Our room was fabulous, very clean, comfy beds and modern bath-room with cream shower and shampoo. This hotel is very good for its great location ( Very close to the lake). Free Internet and wifi available all time.
I honestly can't fault this hotel at all. Everything has been thought of and you are treated like royalty. I cannot wait to go back - it was our best holiday ever. Thank you so much Thaison Palace!
Travel tip:
You can book Golden Lotus Cruise for 2 days/ 1 night fro Halong Bay Trip. Book this trip through Mr. Moki to get better price.

We are sure Thaison Palace is the best hotel.
night in Hanoi around the Hoan Kiem Lake.

We checked Trip Advisor right before going back to Hanoi from Sapa and saw very good comments about Thaison Palace so we decided to pop by and check the rooms! We got the mistake about the address so arrived Thaison Grand Hotel instead of Thaison Palace so the staff (extremely friendly!) took us by motorbike to Thaison Palace, where we got equally welcoming staff taking care of us and showing us a great room on floor 7th, brand new, spacious, fully equipped and cozy. Could not ask for more. The location is great, only a 5 minutes walk from Hoan Kiem Lake. Great value for money and the service excellent. Young, dynamic, friendly staff and good English! A very good place to stay for budget looking for a comfortable stay in Hanoi. We are sure Thaison Palace is the best hotel under 50USD/ night in Hanoi around the Hoan Kiem Lake.

Good location and kind staff

Arriving at the hotel, I was a little bit disappointed because it's very old building. But the front desk staff was really kind and helpful. The room was very spacious and quiet, but it should be renovated. And breakfast buffet was normal. Considering the price, This hotel is recommendable.

All the staffs of this hotel were really kind and helpful, especially the front desk lady was excellent. She recommended me some good restaurants and attractions. And the hotel is conveniently located near the puppet theatre and old town. The room is very spacious and clean, but it is a little bit old and should be upgraded.

Nice hotel close to the main spots
Friendly staff and good breakfast
6.7
The staff was always very friendly and the check-in and check out was very quick. Breakfast was with a great choice, but donät be to late at breakfast otherwise the choice is very limited. The room was quite ok, but very noisy. Using the shower in the bathroom was little bit inconvenient since the warm water need to be switched on and the total flow seems to be limited. Over all, I wouldn't stay here again for the same price.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Ask in the Hotel for a transfer to the airport, but don#t accept the first price they offer. It's much cheaper than a taxi.

Very beautiful hotel and very good service.
Clean and beautiful rooms. Staff was very nice, hard working and polite.
9.7
Before booking at Thaison Palace Hotel we have stayed at Happy Hotel and Royal Palace Hotel. These 3 hotels are the same standard and rooms are very nice and we think they are 3 of the best 3 star hotels in Hanoi this year. However, the price for Thaison Place Hotel is much cheaper so we we can highly recommend this hotel during this low season with very high promotion.
Rooms are so big, clean. Friendly staff and very good location.
