Big room and close to the old quarter

Good location to stay a few days in Hanoi if you want to be close to the old quarter. We stayed on the 5th floor and a big room, even free WiFi :) Staff was friendly and you can arrange tours with them as well.
The breakfast is served on the rooftop with a nice view over the rooftops.

i only spent a night here in transit. the room was well appointed and the staff friendly and helpful. room was spacious and clean, although there was no window. this could be an issue for a longer stay.

friendly and helpful staff. room was not great but for the price we paid it's ok. the blanket was too thin. breakfast was so poor, nothing speacial.
Travel tip:
You can enjoy Sua Chua Nep Cam at the corner of Hang Than and Hoe Nhai, it's yummy!!!

Great service in Old Quarter

Stayed 6 nights in April 2012. The room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Tours, airport shuttles and taxis booked by the hotel were good value. The tours recommended by the hotel were of a high standard and we thoroughly enjoyed all of them. The dining hall had a nice view over surrounding area and a good selection of well cooked and prepared foods. While dining it was interesting to watch the painting of a neighbouring building by the guys abseiling down the side of it - no OSH I guess. Would recommend Hotel to other travellers

The hotel was small and not that clean as expected. Staff at the night time can't really speak english so quite difficult to communicate. The location out from the old quater and not really conveninece. The breakfast was alright and reasonable. The air condition didn't work propery, it was very cold at the night time.

The room is new, has a bath tube and shower heater which is in a good condition. They also provide neccessary stuffs in the bathroom. There is a hairdryer as well. In the room, they also provided water, tea,and coffee, which is great!! However, heater in the room is not so good, not warm or hot enough. Breakfast provided on the seventh floor, which is on the top of the building. We could see a good view of Hanoi through window if the weather is nice. The food is fair and it is buffet which we could should what we want and eat as much as we want. The staff is nice, friendly, and helpful. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the lake and water puppet show area. However, if you like to walk, it doesn't matter. Along the way you could see vietnamese style shop, etc.. All in all it is worthed for your money. If we would go back to Hanoi,we would stay at this hotel again.

Although our room type do not have window, but the room with high ceiling is good enough and make it quite comfortable. The room decoration is quite nice. I think it is very good for the price we paid. The breakfast was also nice with many selections; noodle soup, vegetable, ham, bread, sausage, fried rice, boiled rice, tea, coffee, and juice.
The location of the hotel is not in the old quarter, but is not far from the shopping area and Hoan Keim Lake. There are many street restaurant in this area. The area is not as busy as in the old quarter..this is a good point of this hotel. The hotel's staffs are very friendly and helpful. Well, I have nothing to complain.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Taxi is probably the best option for getting around Hanoi. The cost for travelling from the Time hotel to Ho Chi Min museum is around US$2.
From the airport, I recommend the airport minivan service .which costs US$2 per person. The minivan will take you to Hanoi city center and stop in French quarter near the Sofitel Legend Metropole hotel. From here you can easily take a taxi to your hotel.
