This is a good basic hotel around the a night clean, close to all you need taxis at the front door so it easy to get to the airport.Breakfast is fair at best but as i said for the price its a good hotel.

good basic hotel each room has a computer in it and a fridge,the breakfast is only so so i suggest you get in early for a good choice.taxi's are always available at the front door so thats a great help and as always in vietnam only use vinasun or mahlin taxi's.

Location is good.
Breakfast is surprisingly good for the price and the furniture was more upmarket than I expected at the eating area.
Double bed was decent. Bathroom was reasonable though the shower was a tad small. Two 350ml bottles of water given daily.
Room also has a computer with internet- very useful as it meant I saved baggage weight- didn't have to bring my own laptop.
Laundry was reasonably priced (compared to other hotels in other countries). A polo shirt/t shirt was 16000 dong to launder and back by 9am next day.
Staff were generally helpful. Most of the ladies gave genuine sweet smiles, the men also gave smiles but perhaps because they were older, their smiles were a bit more forced, but at least they were there.
Ask the staff for a map- has district 1 and part of 3- useful.
Not so Good:

The room had no natural lighting. The single window was just 2 feet from the neighbouring building's wall. Only useful to see if it was raining (which it often is in HCM).
Ants in hotel room daily.
Would I stay there again? Maybe. I'd try to look for a place with a view, but at these prices :) (I know- maybe asking for a bit much!)
Travel tip:
Room has computer- no need to bring own laptop. Ben Thanh market just a block away. Some suprisingly nice foot massage finds at the end of dodgy looking alleyways. If not so daring, Tokyo Spa just a hundred metres away.

decent hotel with a good ocation

i often stay with this hotel group and although their rooms are on the small side, they are clean and comfortable.location is probably the best feature, walking distance to the night market and within easy reach of all the nightlife, shopping, wining and dining on offer in hcm city.i would recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again

Great location and extremely convinient. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the Ben Thanh market, restaurants, shops, etc. There's a taxi stand in front of the hotel and all taxi drivers are familiar with the hotel.
However, they will keep your passport throughout your stay which is a bit strange. It's quite noisy as walls are thin. The breakfast is OK.

Location is good as it is near Ben thanh market , just don't get confused with another a&em hotel along the street . Bell boys are usually efficient to help you . Room is clean and bed is comfy , Shocked to see there is led light on shower head . Bathroom is okay , Pretty cool to shower in a capsule-like area . Overall , a good stay . It's a value for money hotel .
