Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Have been staying in this hotel many many times and the one very important thing which makes me always come back and stay here is that it's like a one stop working office, vacation or home to me. I have stayed in many 3 STARS hotel around Ho Chi Minh and believe me I couldn't find any hotel as convenience as Asia Ruby 3. Here in this hotel you will find that the business center is connected to a laser printer for the convenience of self printing all your important work documents including air tickets for your next destination. Breakfast is provided and comes in american breakfast with some mixture of local favorites, plenty of juices & fruits are also available. The staffs sre simply just fantastic. I just love their smile and service. A safe box in the room makes our important belongings safe thru out your trip regardless it is for leisure or business.

close to all cheap backpacker restaurants

The room was very clean and comfortable. Some people might say the room is small, but it was fine for me. Breakfast was really good and fresh.
Corridors were not too cleaned though!

hotel room was small but clean and had a good view. near to backpackers area but a distance from the market. stayed only 1 night. breakfast was poor compared to others that i stayed later.
Shopping Tip:
not the hotel to stay if you want local cheap food and shopping at market. a bit to far to walk.

Excellent service but small rooms

The property is located on a busy street across from the backpacker's alley. Although I was upgraded to a better room, the only room that is of a decent size is the Ruby suite. Breakfast is of limited variety. Lobby staff are polite and helpful. Considering the cheap room rates, the property is worth the money, although hotels on the river in District 1 have a better location for a similar price.

this hotel has a nice location close to a big park in Saigon.
The location is also close to the backpacker area at De Tham street.
Ben Thanh market is at walking distance. There are many restaurants and
travel agents close to the hotel.
The breakfast is ok and a bit better than other hotel we have used in Saigon.
We can recommend this hotel

come to ho chi minh and book the hotel via agoda, they put us on second floor and the smell is very bad especially when you are walking in corridor from elevator to your room. the room is ok but seem it small and little bit expensive compare to hotel facilities
Shopping Tip:
Near Ben Than Market for food you must walk across the road and you can find many kind of food opposite the hotel

Asian Ruby or Agoda is mesleading travellers
7
Please be aware when you are booking through Agoda. We have specifically wanted to stay at Asian Ruby 1 because of it's location. It is advertised as Ruby 1, however when you make a booking for a cheaper room rate you get Asian Ruby 3. Completely misleading. If you insist on staying at AR1 you have to pay a significant difference. I would highly recommend booking through another website for this hotel, and check the address upon receiving the confirmation. In regards to the hotel. It is over priced and very basic. But location is good. Ok. dont expect any extra service or anything like that.
Restaurant Tip:
La Hosteria around the corner
