Cosy Hotel with simple but wonderful breakfast
Hotel is new and clean. Decor is cosy and wonderfully located in the centre of town.

Asian Ruby 3 is a relatively new hotel. Cleaniness is tip top and staff are friendly and helpful. We paid just a little bit more to get the deluxe room, comes with a rain shower and also a bathtub, window and LCD TV with cable channels. Breakfast variety is not great, about 10-15 types of food maybe? (bacon ham eggs bread cereals coffee tea juice milk the standard fare and a few local vietnam dishes), however plus points as they change the breakfast menu everyday. Definitely worth staying!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The day tour prices offered at the hotel recepts may not necessary be good deals. Take a walk along De Tham and you will find many operators offering similar tours at very competitive prices.

Great price, good location

We booked a family room but we were given two double rooms instead. We were hoping to get two adjoining rooms but got separate rooms instead. The rooms were clean, and for the price we paid, value for money indeed. Asian Ruby 3 Hotel is near Ben Than market, 5-10 mins walk. Breakfast buffet was ok.

Small hotel with great location

This is a pretty decent, basic hotel with a great location. The hotel is within walking distance to lots of nearby attractions. Rooms are clean but pretty small but good enough for a short business trip. Breakfast was ok. The hotel is approximately half an hour away from the airport. Staff was lovely and extended warm service.

we got to the hotel early in the day before regular check in and they had our rooms ready for us with no extra charge. wifi in the rooms has easy connection with no drop outs. they also have satellite tv with the australia channel so my partner could watch afl finals. it is across the park from the tourist area with all the booking agents for tours and where the buses leave to head north. rooms were small but very comfortable with good block out curtains. breakfast is ok. lots to choose from.

We spent 2 nights here, the breakfast was a pretty good spread in comparison to other hotels in Ho Chi Minh & Hoi An.. They let us store our bags there overnight while we were in the Mekong too..
The wifi is excellent, full range on each floor. Rooms were clean, reasonably spacious & good selection of tv channels

- above average location - located in district one (heart of hcmc) near ben thanh market (10-15 minutes walk), across pham ngu lao(backpackers streets with pubs) separated by a park
- room is much smaller than what was stated on the net (premium deluxe)
- room is located on storey 1 which is about the third level from the ground where you will find mosquitoes infesting your room
- attitude of staff at front desk can be better
- daily breakfast is good and eatery staff are friendly
- room is quite well furnished and look cosy
- daily make up of room is quite professional. bedding are well cleaned and sterilised.
- cable tv with multiple international channels
- wifi connection is generally good
Hotel Feature Tip:
Try to ask for a higher storey to avoid the mosquitoes which can be causing you a huge nuisance.

Our stay in this hotel is just ok for a 3 star hotel. Good breakfast but I hope the hotel will include airport-hotel transfer for security reason especially if our schedule of arrival in Saigon early morning.
