Central Location

This is an Okay hotel. It is sort of a glorified backpacker hotel given its' proximity to the Pham Ngu Lao area just on the other side of the park. It is somewhat noisy because every 15 minutes the bus stops across the street with the warning horn beeping loudly. Our standard room bed was uncomfortable and the plumbing only produced hot water(even in the toilet!) so I upgraded to the suite and the bed was much better and the plumbing worked as it should. The staff was nice and the room was clean.

Good location, friendly staff. But we weren't very happy with the room. They have the worst bathroom in the world. Everything is broken. Breakfast is not good at all. You can find another hotel much nicer than this. It is a mediocre 2star hotel calling it self a 3star.
Restaurant Tip:
Barbecue restaurant in 29 Ton that thiep street is great. Should try.

The hotel was overbooked and so we were upgraded to a suite for our whole 6 night stay. Everything was close by and in walking distance. The air conditioning worked very well which wasn't the case in other hotels. The doormen were always ready to help us and even ran across the street sometimes to stop traffic and grab our bags for us.

lovely clean room , very new, quite small size though. bit noisy at times through inter-connecting door. reception staff helpful. early check in available for 20rm (5am-very handy). very nice breakfast with variety of food-fruit, bread, asian dishes, western food, etc. would definitely stay here again.
Shopping Tip:
5 minute walk to Ben Thanh market. Visit the fixed price section to get an idea of prices first.

Due to arrival time of flight arrived at hotel well before the 2pm checkin time to a rather not so firendly reception.Was told abruptly that we were too early as 2pm is check in time before we could even get a word in.
We knew we were early but had no choice but go straight to the hotel thinking wew could leave the luggage and go out shopping.
After a bit of banter we were that that as it was the room was available and we could check in but would have to pay an early checkin fee.Before we agrred we asked if we could see the room first.When we checked the room, even though the booing was made in 29/1/12 for 3 adults it only had to king single beds.It was only preped for 2 and there was not really room for another.We got offered another room which was slightly bigger which we took.Again knowing that 3 people occupied the room and we asked for extra towels etc nothing was forth coming.Our whoe stay the room was only proved with towels ect for 2.
We would not stay there again so we say, Pass on this hotel there are many others in the same area that must be better.

we had a deluxe room which is quite big. things are clean and modern. the staffs are courteous helpful and knowledgeable. about 500 m to ben thanh market. shopping and food is convenient. the morning breakfast is good with mixed varieties. transportation is easy by taxi or motorbikes. local tour n massage are also available. new world hotel just a block away with casino lounge n shows. indeed it's value for money for me n friend. many shops and shopping mall at the back of hotel
