Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Not a bad location, great breakfast
Safe hotel in a local area albeit only 10 min walk to main area
7.3
we booked this hotel for 2 nights at the start of july as we gave ourselves a break from walking around with our bags checking different places out.
not a bad choice as the rooms are fine and the guys that worked there are very friendly.
breakfast was included which was a real bonus as the pho was great.
we only booked for 2 nights and after walking around the city for a couple of days we moved a couple of blocks further up de tham street at the end of bui vien, not down to the hotel but that a simple 500 meters closer to the main area made each trip out of the hotel much easier and less stressful.
not a bad choice but we got a place for cheaper and closer to where you may want to be called anh dao guesthouse.
Nightlife Tip:
BUI vien street pretty much has everything from cheap food, very cheap beers and atmosphere if that's what you're looking for.

Good little hotel close to Backpacker area.
Clean, convenient and well appointed room.

Only stayed here one night but found the hotel to be very acceptable. Clean, efficient staff and a nice breakfast made the stay enjoyable. The room was well designed and had all one needs.
A welcome lift made having a high floor room easy.

good service and a cute kitten
clean, friendly service, nice breakfast - four free things a godsend
7.7
The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We had free international calls from their pc in the restaurant; free fast wifi; free breakfast (yoghurt, bananas, juice, coffee, and choice of viatnamese breakfast or eggs or toast and jam). Filling enough. They have a little kitten there called Mao and she is very cute.
We had booked a deluxe room but nearly ended up in a Standard before we realised our mistake. Standards are pretty average sized but with the extra bed in the deluxe for us to put our rucksacks on it helped. Shower is over the bath, toiletries topped up everyday along with the minibar (tea & coffee, water, juice..and beer). Large windows allowing plenty of light. They also serve lunch and dinner though we never had chance to try it.
Location is good, about 10min walk to the main backpacker area - lots of restaurants and bars, shops etc, and about 20min walk into the city. Nice frozen yoghurt place around the corner.
Oh free laundry as well was really useful; 1 outfit a day limit.

Great location with excellent service
Location, service, cleanliness

Great location and the room was more than adequate. Very clean as well. However, the best attribute of this hotel is the excellent, pleasant service. The staff is great across the board. I would definitely stay again.

A fantastic small hotel
Well positioned newer hotel
9.3
What a great smaller hotel! The Ava Saigon 2 is well positioned within walking distance from the main backpacker area. This wonderful hotel is very clean and tidy with an extremely helpful and friendly staff. It has everything that some of the bigger and more expensive hotels have to offer and more.Good breakfast and free laundry are some of the bonuses Well worth a visit, I will most certainly be returning.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The street becomes a market mornings and has all manner of produce sold and foods, worth a stroll after breakfast!

could not be more helpful. nearby but out of the (noisy) backpacker area.

Short stay. Helpful about our next travel leg. No pressure on tours. Plenty of travel agents nearby to arrange tours & onward travel. Hotel clean & comfortable. Well positioned to walk to many of central tourist attractions. Signage at hotel a bit obscure but airport pickup fixes that.

Decent hotel overall not bad

There was nothing wrong with this hotel but nothing special either. A few mins walk from the main backpacker street, you'll find closer accomm possibly for same/better price. Included brekky which was satisfactory. Room was just ok, kind of small, not very new. But everything worked fine. Staff were friendly.

good location
near travel agencies where you can book your tours

The stay was comfortable. Free breakfast, wifi, laundry. Room size was ok. Breakfast was also good. I like the iced coffee with milk, though it was a bit strong. Staff were very accomodating.
Restaurant Tip:
Try Pho . It's located beside Ben Thanh Market. They have english menu. Their fruit shake is a must-try. I tried jackfriut and soursop. They're really good, more fruit, less ice.

Good location, helpful staff, good value for money
helpful staff, convenient location and not noisy at night
9.3
It was a pleasant stay. Hotel staffs were very helpful. You could book tours in the reception area. Breakfast is also simple but good. We have toast with eggs/sausage, banana, yoghurt, and a choice of drinks (choose from coffee, iced coffee, lemon juice, etc). They also offer free laundry, wifi, and international calls to some countries.
There are lots of shops (around 10 minute walk)along De Tham street where the hotel is located. The location is a short taxi ride to Ben Thanh market, Notredame cathedral, post office and other shopping areas in District 1. The location is near some cafes/bars but not too near that you can't sleep at night due to noise.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Mekong Delta and Cu Chi tunnel tours are a must when in Ho Chi Minh. The hotel can help you book them.
