Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

2nd Visit after 2 years still good
Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant food good and reasonable price, location, fast free wifi

The hotel is situated in the backpacker area of Bui Vien, which is good for many reasons but the noise from the all night discos seems to have got worse since our last visit.
The rooms are large and fairly basic, ask for a room with a window and you will get a balcony overlooking the narrow fasciniating back street moving with all Saigon life.
If you want a more modern room but smaller go for BS III annex next door, built last year.
The restaurant has a very wide menu and the food is aways well prepared and a good standard.
Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful in booking forwarding travel and tours.
Nightlife Tip:
If you are not participating bring earplugs

Awesome location, extremely friendly & helpful!
Situated in a little alley full of great little restaurants & bars. The staff always seem happy & are more than willing to assist with organising tours. The rooms are modern & clean.

Right from when I arrived late at night I received such incredible service. The guy on reception went & personally bought a power adaptor for me from a nearby store so that I could charge my phone. The next day I joined a your halfway through the day so the woman on reception personally took me there to
meet up with them on her motorbike!
Restaurant Tip:
The hotel's restaurant is really affordable & has a great selection of vegetarian dishes!

good location but not a good hotel
4.7
More a guesthouse than a hotel. No elevator. The noise fram the airco was terrible. No wifi in my room. There was a desktop computer, but the date was 10 years (!) ahead. Several applications like booking programms counld not work for this reason. When a told the reception about the problem they where not at all interested. Also the noise frim the frige was quite loud. It is an extension of an existing hotel and I am afraid that the are most interested in earning quick money.

Great location
Quiet location down a laneway, friendly staff, good amenties

A good hotel, with everything you would require.
Good wifi, comfortable beds, very clean.
Restaurant food is good, very fresh and cheap.
No lift, but there are porters to bring your bags up.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Go for a deluxe room. More space, better fixtures and fittings (ie. quiet aircon and better bathroom), not to mention the fantastic balcony overlooking life in the street.

Great Value for location
Great location in the middle of the tourist district, but in a narrow street so not too much noise from the busy streets.

Nice room, a bit small. The staff is very hospitable and willing to help you to plan your trip

functional hotel with central location
6.3
Right in the heart of the backpacker area so don't expect a quiet or picturesque stay. The hotle itself is better than some in the area but I would recommend that if you have additional budget that you look around at other options.
It was clean and safe and the staff were helpful enough

Great clean and friendly hotel.

good sized room with clean beds and nice bed linen. the breakfast was the usual standard but i did see two guys who seemed to eat their way through the whole menu so its obviously up to you. the beautiful hotels are all in the same area but only this one seems to feature on agoda, from the outside the others looked even better, if we go again i might take a look at one of the others.

Convenient location, good service, no elevator

I have stayed at the Beautiful Saigon three times, and it is worth noting that it consists of several different buildings, close to one another but with different layouts and amenities. I had knee problems during this visit, and didn't think to let the hotel know in advance, since when I last visit I was in a building with an elevator. This time, I was on the fourth floor of a building with no elevator. I survived, and this certainly isn't a serious complaint. But do be aware that if you book here and you have mobility issues, you need to let the hotel know ahead of time.
Aside from this minor issue, I was very happy with the hotel (again) and I will be back.
Travel tip:
1. If you have trouble with stairs, tell the hotel ahead of time. Some parts have no elevator.
2. If you are arriving at the airport, and haven't had to deal with Vietnamese taxi drivers before, contact the hotel and ask them to arrange a pickup for you. It will cost you $20 or so, and you may be able to find a cheaper alternative. But SGN has more than its fair share of crooked taxi drivers, who will not hesitate to rip you off (and take advantage of the fact that you are still trying to figure out how to convert ollars, euros, or baht into dong (20,000 to the dollar, give or take.)
