Location and Clean Room
Close to all tourist attraction

We stay for 2 nights. Room was clean and big (Suite), bathroom was clean. Breakfast is good but some food not halal. there is halal restaurant near hotel. Hotel location is very good. its walking distance to ben tanh market and reunification place.
Foot massage is very good, value for money.
Cons: wifi/internet is available but we can not connect.

room was clean, and blackfast was delicious. but that was all.
room has no window, so I feel like I'm suffocating. and room was so small. but it s near the other hotel, and market. so if u stay only one day, i recommended.

Blue Diamond stay for the second time.
Very good customer service, and good food!

As usual, the customer service was very good, and the food was good. These are the two main reasons that I stay at the Blue Diamond when I'm in Ho Chi Minh.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Highly recommend using the hotel booking service for your tours. The hotel tour bookings are legite, and so, you should receive decent tours.

Average Hotel
Good location near famous Ben Thant Market

booked for stay at blue diamond for 3 nights. upon arrival informed that they have miscommunication with agoda booking so they have to transfer us to nearby lan lan hotel for 1st night. 2nd night check in room was average. they insist us to take breakfast package for my son eventhough we re not really into it. turn out for breakfast next morning but quite frustrated with selection offered. however its foot massage was great and value for money. overall i can say it really average hotel. maybe will opt for other hotel for future visit.

Clean & great location!

This hotel is less than 5 mins walk to Ben Tanh market, there are also lots of restaurants nearby at walkable distance..price is much cheaper than other 3/4 stars hotel, but the service provided is comparable!!

Nice hotel close to many tourist traps

Blue Diamond Hotel is value for money. There is many hotels in Saigon that is cheaper. But Blue Diamond is worth the price. The staff is very helpfull, smiling, and most has oustanding English skills.
The hotel is kept clean. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variete of Vietnamese delicasies, in addition to som standard western food. It is probably the best breakfast buffet I ever seen in a hotel at this price.
Location close to the Saigon River (15 minutes walk), and five minute walk to the Ben Than market makes it the perfect location for a couple of days looking for souvenirs.
Travel tip:
A small warning. Close to the hotel is a hindutempel. (Yes, there is hindus in the city). The temple is open for everybody to walk in. You should buy some gifts to offer inside, including a packet of scentet sticks to use, either you praying to Shiva or just wishing for your future. Be aware that there is a woman and a younger man praying on tourists. Wehn you are walking in to the temple, they will approach you, give you a pack of sticks, not accepting money. When you leaving the temple, you will be approached again, and 100.000 dong will be demanded. The correct price is max. 10.000. So just pay 10.000. If you have money to give away, put them in one of the many boxes inside the temple, - not feed the scammers.

Bed, rooms and bathrooms were really clean, service was attentive and spoke decent english

Arrived and checked in. Procedure was formal and the staff even issued a receipt for passports held. Went to the rooms, clean, neat, tidy. Bathrooms were just as clean if not cleaner. Towels provided were clean as well. Overall, worth the amount spent and they even manage to accomodate my bookings of 5 rooms on the same floor. Good location with no shortage of taxis and 5 mins walk to the tourist market.

The Hotel is just walking distance on some major attractions like the Central Post Office/ Ben Tanh Market and just a few minutes ride on a taxi to the Notre Dame Basilica, City Theatre, City Hall and shopping Malls. they offer a nice variety of buffet for Breakfast. staff are all smiling and always willing to serve you.
Nightlife Tip:
go bar hopping around the City, bars with no entrance fee and cheap drinks

breakfast is not as good as before

Before breakfast is good,these 2 month the breakfast become bad. For example, when some meal of breakfast are finished,the waiter just stand up somewhere and don't want to put tne new meal.
