We have stayed before and again our experience was just as good.
We had a great time here and we love the blue diamond hotel, i think it is very clean and modern and we will gladly stay here again.
Shopping Tip:
Be sure to visit Ben Tann markets just down the road and bargain hard.

Small room and smell mouldy

There is a good shopping mall locates at le thanh Tom, district one. At parson department store level 4 have a good buffe restaurant you must to try. Very cheap value and good food.

we arrived at the hotel to be surprised by the tidy appearance considering the low cost of this hotel. however, we were greeted by two young girls at reception who put pressure on us to upgrade our room. the girls seemed very unhappy with us when we declined. this made us uncomfortable so we thought it was not a nice place to stay. however, the rest of our stay surprised us in that other staff were extremely helpful and friendly. i think we must have met the two young girls at the end of a long shift! the buffet breakfast was fantastic, the information given to us very helpful and staff very friendly, including providing us with cool drinking water when waiting for our taxi in the lobby etc.
Restaurant Tip:
Ngon restaurant and Barbeque Garden are both lovely!

The location is very good, near to market and the palace. The hotel staff gave us many recommendation on restaurent which served wonderful local food with reasonable price. The foot massage at level 1 is worth to try. Hotel room is big and clean.

Hotel staff were very helpful. When communication was a problem with taxi drivers, the hotel staff jumped right in and helped.
Restaurant Tip:
The A & EM Hotel across the street from the Blue Diamond Hotel has a nice quiet restraunt on the ninth floor, for those who want a relaxing dinner without a crowd.

The hotel has a great location, being close to various city attraction and shopping malls. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety food choices and were delicious. Room was clean and daily maintenance was very satisfactory. Towels and toiletries including complimentary water were replenished daily. The staff were easy to talk to and very accommodating and we courteous too! We were fortunate that our room had a view of the street and had windows. They also facilitated our Mekong River Tour. They also have a spa where the foot massage is highly recommended. Would recommend this hotel to tourists and visitors.
Travel tip:
Don't eat at the restaurant across - very expensive and charges everything, including wet wipes and the shrimp crackers placed at your table while you are ordering. We had the impression that it was a freebie since they just placed it in the middle of the table for us to eat. Only to find out that it was charged to our final bill. And don't ask for water because they don't have free water. They give you the bottled water.

This hotel is ideal to visit all the museums and markets, you can walk to them all in 5-10 minutes.
The hotel is modern ish and clean, the only issue we had was we where on the 9th floor which is the top floor and the staff quarters where above us. This meant early morning and late night it was very noisy above us and at the staircase at the side of our room.
Apart from this the staff, breakfast and tours etc where great.
