Great location but small rooms

I intended to change schedule when we stayed in Vietnam, while as I booked via Agoda website, so at first they would not change for me, but after negotiation with receiption, finally they helped me to change it, I feel so good with that, and thanks !
Shopping Tip:
It is convenient to do shopping there

Excellent location in District 1 with good service

i've stayed here a number of times before. the first time, i was upgraded to a junior suite...woohoo..that was great! the next time, it was in a family room with one bed too many but quite spacious. this latest time, i ended up in the right wing where i believe is the old wing. the fittings and fixtures look dated...even the lift.
if you can choose, ask for the left wing. access is up the lift to the left...before you reach the front desk.
breakfast was on the executive floor on the left wing. if you end up like me on the right wing, you'd have to come down to the first floor and use the lift at the left wing and go up to 7.
service like all other times have been very friendly and welcoming. on check out, they said i consumed drinks from the mini bar which i did not touch at all. however, when i insisted that i had not, they asked me to write a statement on the bill and waived it.
*tip*: on arrival, do a logistics check of the mini-bar items to avoid a mess later.
the buffet dinner was pricey by local standards but a very good spread indeed!
Restaurant Tip:
there's a restaurant called al fresco along the road just opposite the hotel. tex-mex stuff with good margaritas. i don't know if they still have their loyalty card but if you're a regular visitor to hcmc, it's worth chalking up.

The room is quite nice and so as the location, providing travelers the convenience of shopping and dining.
If there is some Japanese TV programs, it will be better.

Great location and excellent service.
Best location, close to everything. It was great to get back to the hotel to drop off the shopping and try a different part of Saigon.

the rooms were clean, the breakfast buffet accommodated everyone.
Restaurant Tip:
The beer garden next door to the hotel had fantastic food for a reasonable price.

Room was ok but overpriced for what was offered. Design of room a bit outdated. Nice balcony in room. Nice restaurant on top floor.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Always ask for a room with a balcony. Unless you don't mind a room without any windows or view. Room rates comparatively overpriced for what it offers.

hotel is old and the facilities are not very good. The only thing is it's located on Dong KHoi street, center of District one where you can stay for business or shopping. Lots of shops around and walking distance to the center...
Room is not really nice, old , service is very so so
