i stayed here over christmas weekend as it was too far for me to travel home. the hotel exceeded my expectations. the room was large and very clean. i had a room overlooking the pool, so it was very quiet. the breakfast (included in my room rate) had something for everyone, i enjoyed trying all the varieties of food. the saigan bar was good, the music was a bit loud, but sitting outside helped.
the thing that made my stay was coming back after a day of tourist activities on christmas eve to find a stocking hung on my door, with fruit, nuts and some cookies. there was also a box of christmas chocolates in my room. this was not expected and really made spending christmas away from home special.
one note, the pool did not have a separate hot tub, just a spa section. as the pool was shaded in the afternoon it was a bit too cool to be relaxing.

The room is nice, but the only thing that I dislike is the height of the toilet bowl is the lowest I have ever seen in my international travel standard. The breakfast is one of the best in Saigon hotel, but if you did not book it together with your hotel room, they will charge you USD25 for the breakfast!
Restaurant Tip:
Roof top bar for a beef burger and a mineral water cost USD20

Lovely modern hotel great location

stayed here for two nights at christmas. used the signature lounge which was very comfortable. very nice hotel and good service. nice pool and gym. breakfast was very nice. exactly what one would expect from a five star hotel. fruit bowl and water in room. great view of opera house.

Great location and nice service
near the famous scenic spots

It located in a convient place and can walk to most of the famous scenic spots like the red church, post office, independent palace and the war remnant museum. The services are also very nice. They help us to keep our passport during our stay. It was very considerable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You can get a free map from the desk of the lobby and go to most famous of scenic spots by walk.

Lovely hotel in a great location

We stayed in a Signature room, on the 9th floor, which gave us access to the Signature (club) lounge, which was well worth it.
The hotel has a lovely feel to it, very colonial, but homely at the same time.
The location is perfect for exploring the immediate area for shopping, sightseeing, dining, etc.
We have nothing negative to say about the hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
Temple Club, 5 to 10 minutes walk away, is an excellent dining experience. Quite hard to find as it is tucked away on a fairly dark street.

ben thnh market is for those who r willing to bargain. shud ask for more than 60% reduction of d price thy ask for. most of them r rude. so unless u want to buy tat item, then start bargainjng..else just keep quiet or they wud force u until u buy. and if u dunbuy then they wud get upset. just be humble apologise profusely n walk away
