Good location, well kept and good services.

Airport transfer service is considered expensive.

I was greeted with warm services upon reaching the hotel lobby. Generally all the staff are well trained, friendly and helpful. The room is in tip top condition furnished with all the neccessary stuffs like slippers, hair dryer, even come with iron and iron board. The bed is comfortable and is better than King size which I guess by far the largest I have ever seen in a hotel room.

Great rooms! Clean and spacious. Hotel was very accomodating to our request for an adjoining room. Great band on the 9th floor open air bar and dance floor!

Nothing much except that the rate I got did not include breakfast!

My 4 girl friends and I had a fabulous stay at Caravelle Hotel. The location was ideal as all the shops and restaurants are close by. The main shopping street is just on the left side and the beautiful European architecture Opera House is just right in front of the hotel. The concierge service is great. They arranged a great English speaking and very knowledgeable guide for a half day tour.

Restaurant Tip : You have to check out this Restaurant called Anvien. It is a fantastic and authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Very elegantly and uniquely decorated and served great Vietnamese dishes. You must not miss: The lotus & banana flower salad, the shrimp cake wrapped on sugar cane, fried banana flower. Do not step into the Italian restaurant in Continental Hotel, just opposite Caravelle Hotel! We had a miserable time with fake Italian food and cold pasta!

best location of the city and the outlook of the hotel is very impressive

room space is small internet service is ridiculous with some rooms, you will need a wire to plug to connect to the Internet

rooms are too small but the location is great. Compared to other 5 star hotels like sheraton,.... its has fair quality but is good for an individual businessman trip

Restaurant Tip : there are some good restaurants by the entrance of the hotel with really good chinese foods and several shopping malls nereby

Good location

Swimming pool small, lousy service

Though the room is decent size, it's nothing luxurious or impressive for the price. The swimming pool is a big disappointment, especially given the heat in Ho Chi Minh. Not only is it small for a 5-star hotel, but the whole place smells of stale cooking oil and smoke from the nearby exhaust. Lobby is also quite unimpressive as compared to nearby Sheraton. Service was so-so, as conceirge wasn't sure of a popular local attraction (water puppet), but did make an effort to find out. The only good thing is the location.

Excellent location and customer service.

Room rates are too high. We would have stay longer if the rates are more reasonable especially with economic downturn like now.

Super recommendable hotel in Ho Chi Ming city. Interior Luxuriousness, location, safety, restaurant&bars, pools, service and hospitality are all good. More than expectation with reasonable price. The headache is the traffic jam to the hotel, but it is not directly related to the hotel responsibility. There are no good souvenir shops inside the hotel.

Restaurant Tip : There is a great fusion Japanese restaurant nearby with the freshest seafood. Eat all you can, but not the typical buffet style. Order from ala carte.

Location, price, history.

None

The Hotel Caravelle is ideally situated within walking distance of many of the city's sights. The rooms are excellent and the hotel staff are friendly efficient and very helpful. The original hotel itself has some history, reputedly the world press could sit in the famous Saigon Saigon bar on the 10th Floor and report on the Vietnam war without ever having to leave their bar stools. If something particularly newsworthy did happen they could take a lift to the ground floor board a limousine, see the events unfold and return to the bar for evening cocktails. Times have changed and the 10th floor no longer commands the view it once did - but the new part of the hotel affords some excellent views in all directions over the city. Trips further afield can be easily arranged via the concierge e.g the Cu Chi tunnels and other sites worth a visit.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Hard Rock Cafe is not at the address given in any of the Guide Books - at the back of the hotel.

The window of our room was quite dirty. We had a flight delay of over 24 hours. That meant we lost one night of our prepaid room. It took sometime for us to convince the front desk that we should have the next night since we had prepaid a 2-night stay. I have a feeling that the front desk is not customer friendly at all. After all the delay when we finally got there, they made us wait for a room which was rightfully ours and already paid for.

Saigon Saigon bar on the top of the original hotel is fairly expensive for Ho Chi Minh, but there is a great view of the city.

Restaurant Tip : The third floor restaurant - Reflections - is wonderful.

When you use the pool and the SPA, it is good to use the locker room. Curve in the pool, there's so shallow, children can enjoy. Ask dine by the pool, with poolside atmosphere (high quality).寝心地a very good bet .

He was previously room iron, there was this. We have a significantly higher amount of laundry, you could ask under GERE more easily price. The laundry is finished so early thanks.

The staff is very friendly, just remember that it was also impressive was the child C RE, a very happy reunion with his second stay. This is also a late-night arrival, I asked the pickup to the airport, so he sent photos by email in advance of staff, easy to understand.
